I'm not a terribly big fan of how undisciplined Baptists tend to be when at the pulpit, and correspondingly how prone the congregation is to shout responses out of turn, but this guy is 100% correct about MLK. In addition to being an unrepentant heretic, he was also an avowed communist and a violently abusive womanizer. Good on this guy for telling it like it is.

The guy in that video is a heretic as well, in several areas.

I know that the man was a socialist, but so was Albert Einstein and I think that both of them did a lot of good things. When I think of MLK Jr. I think of his message of racial integration and his opposition to the war in Vietnam.

What are your thoughts regarding his whore-mongering, his plagiarism, and his rejection of the Gospel?

MLK had his good points. He made a positive difference in the world. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

This is the same guy who "debunked" Jonathan Cahn's Harbinger. He's not credible to me on account of his weak arguments from that. Don't care to watch this.

The pastor in the OP video lost me when he went on a "Let's kill all gay people" rant. Sorry but MLK >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> pastor Steve Anderson. And I used to like pastor Steve.

Well I wouldn't want him as my pastor, but I don't really know if it was proven that he was a womanizer.

Hehehe I actually didn't know about this before, I found this interview just now. I laughed watching the whole way through:

He's also a Holocaust Denier, who believes the religion of Judaism is wicked and fraudulent because it denies Jesus. He believes the Jews totally control the media (he's right) and are using their influence to inflict an evil agenda upon Western society.

Might I add he's also a hard core libertarian who believes in freedom, liberty and very limited government. He was a big Ron Paul supporter.

Here are some videos of him throwing some red meat to Alex Jones. Fighting for his rights, resisting Federal tyranny. Good times in the land of the free

I don't really have an axe to grind about Steven Anderson. But I thought his sermon about him that pisseth against the wall was interesting.

He rejects total depravity, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistible grace...and he believes other heretical things like Jesus suffered in Hell for sins, and that God inspired the King James Version only.

I think this will be a very popular one around these parts. Very interesting message, I like it a lot.

The FBI recorded MLK cheating on his wife. Pretty much everyone agrees with that. King David was a womanizer too only he murdered to cover it up.

Anderson is a mixed bag, but the really bizarre thing with regards to the whole gay issue is that he doesn't seem to think that homosexuals can repent, based on things I've seen him say. Which of course they can

That said I'm totally for criminalizing it with a maximum penalty of death

Yeah, he's got a lot of the usual calling cards that goes with being a Congregationalist Baptist, but unlike MLK, he isn't going around saying that the virgin birth was a myth and that Christianity came from Mithraism. Like I said, I'm not endorsing this guy, but he is right about MLK.

So because an OT figure sinned (and was punished pretty hard for it), we should make excuses for the whore-mongering of a God-hating Christ-Myth proponent and communist plant? Yeah, that's some great logic right there.

I discovered Steven Anderson when I was watching Star Trek related videos and his sermon on Interracial Marriage was a suggested video. He seems to have a lot of sermons on things that aren't worthy of entire sermons.

I had always thought that those allegations were made up by segregationists. Learn something new every day.

I don't see the evidence that he was a Communist. Socialist? Sure. I've always seen MLK as the Dennis Kucinich type of leftist. He isn't known for his theological or economic views though. He's known for his belief in racial equality and non-violence. I'm glad that I've been able to go to church and school with a lot of great people that I wouldn't have had the chance to know 60 years ago.
