Thread: Trump supports Iraq war 3.

    Trump supports Iraq war 3.

Donald Trump wants to "knock the hell out of" Iraq's oil fields in order to strike ISIS.

And then he wants to take over the oil fields and funnel the profits back to the United States, funds he would use to take care of veterans and their families.

"You take away their (ISIS's) wealth, that you go and knock the hell out of the oil, take back the oil," Trump said this weekend on NBC's "Meet the Press."

"We're going to have so much money," he added.

Trump said he would use ground troops to accomplish that mission.

More continuation of the RP revolution...... from the draft dodging SOB Trump.
War; everything in the world wrong, evil and immoral combined into one and multiplied by millions.

Our soldiers are going to be guarding oil fields that our oil companies will be profiting from. Socialize the costs, privatize the profits. Our soldiers will become security guards for Halliburton.

No word on how it's possible to guard these areas amidst an ocean of enemy. He wants to encircle small regions without a widespread territorial conquest, so how are you going to supply the troops? How are you going to get the oil out, some sort of pipeline rushed to construction? How are you going to guard the hundreds of miles of pipeline that are a big fat juicy target for insurgents? You know, being surrounded is typically what you try to avoid in war.

How are people in these regions going to respond when they see us cutting and running with the oil, leaving them to the slaughter of ISIS?

That is just the point with Trump. He doesn't give a damn about the people of the countries he believes the US should steal resources from. It is clear he only opposed the 2nd Iraq war because he thought is wasn't working right. I would hate to be in Iraq again with Trump making the tactical decisions. Be a $#@!ing sitting duck. Makes Bush look like a military genius.

NAP and anarchist Trump is merely floating a thought balloon to the media to make them think twice about authoritarianism.

Analysts of military policy also note that even as Mr. Trump has withdrawn several thousand troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, he has ordered nearly twice that many, about 14,000 forces, to the Persian Gulf region in the past year or so in response to Iranian attacks and provocations.
At any given time, 45,000 to 65,000 American troops are in the region, spread out between Jordan and Oman, assigned to operate airfields, run key headquarters, sail warships and fly warplanes, and stage for deployments to places such as Iraq and Afghanistan.
