I think I read 3 payments of $200k, but randal is only on the hook for the first 2; the rest is generated by candidate fees.

This is from the politico article from last week

Paul plans to make the payments in installments. First, he said he transferred $250,000 to a state GOP account. He also promised to raise or transfer another $200,000 to the committee at a later date — once the final budget for the caucuses is finalized. Paul said an additional $150,000-$225,000 would be raised by charging fees on candidates who participate in the caucuses, with the party charging each candidate $15,000 to participate.

So 400,000 should be reasonable to raise, anyone here who can do graphics and twitter?

I had heard that Rand was planning to put $250K down, but I thought that would cover the biggest part of it. I didn't realize that the total cost would be more than twice that.

We're definitely going to need a money bomb to get back to even.
