Woman Suing cop for Rape. He's already in jail for a prior rape. City knew his habits

I guess he's just one of the bad apples. Sadly he only got 1 year in jail for his prior rape. The one part of the story the really freaked me out:

The lawsuit alleges that Edmonds failed to do a proper background check on Lavely, a former military police officer. It also claims that the city knew “Lavely was a sexual deviant and granted him access to female members of the public as well as the power to detain women.

If that part is true, that is just so $#@!ing sick. They know they have a serial rapist sexual deviant on their hands, and after they rough up a homeless woman they send the rapist on her. If the city knew he was a sick $#@! and covered his tracks and allowed him to prey on women is beyond disgusting. That's like medieval nastiness.

Don't conquering soldiers always do that to the females among the vanquished?

You don't understand. Cops have protocols and stuff.

So unless you're a cop, you should just STFU.

Just a big old tub of bathwater.
    There is no baby.
    There never was a baby.
There are no crimes against people.
There are only crimes against the state.
And the state will never, ever choose to hold accountable its agents, because a thing can not commit a crime against itself.
