    Teflon Don -- Lead Grows

He is truly “Teflon Don.” Republican frontrunner billionaire Donald Trump has jumped seven points—a remarkable hike in the polls—after the GOP debate in Cleveland, Ohio, last week and a subsequent spat with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

God Almighty.......................They have created a monster.......................

The share of Republican primary voters who say they view Trump favorably increased since the last tracking poll, to 62 percent from 57 percent,” Wilson wrote. “But the number of registered voters who say they see Trump unfavorably remains high — 52 percent of all voters say they see him in a negative light. That makes Trump both the most popular candidate within the Republican field and the least popular candidate Republicans could nominate for next year’s general election.”

    This is completely nuts.

Rand Paul does the best in the General Election against Hillary compared to all other candidates - and he is the most conservative. He is supposedly polling very poor among conservatives.

Donald Trump does the worst in the General Election against Hillary Clinton - and he is the most liberal - yet is polling at the top among conservatives.

    Something is really wrong here.

The only way to take him down is make him look more reasonable and part of the club.He is playing the nationalism card.

Based on this poll, Cruz was the biggest loser of the debate.

Just saw Hillary on CNN talking about Trump and attacking him... great. This is only going to solidify the support around Trump, which is good strategy on Hillary's part considering she annihilates him in head to head match ups. It would be to her benefit if Trump is the nominee

    So true.

It’s a good thing for the GOP that Trump is not a great speaker or all that politically savvy. If he was, his lead would be 80 points.

Once this moniker sticks it's going to its going to really make it even harder to reach his voters, it'll be a source of pride. The more they try to push Trump out of the race the more backlash there will be.

Looks like someone is going to have to spend some money now to take him down.

It doesn't help that Breitbart, other conservative sites and talk radio are promoting Trump. Big time. And it seems at least some conservatives can't think for themselves. Mark Levin and Rush think he's awesome..... therefore he must be.

Besides that the polls are crap. This is another online poll of registered voters, not likely voters, and the sampling is pathetically small.

The Trumptards are using these crap polls to prove Trump is still surging. I'd wait for some legitimate polling outfits before taking this one, and Survey Monkey, seriously.
