Trump in 1990: Legalize ALL DRUGS

    How bout dem apples?

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/article...the-drugs.html

During a luncheon hosted by the Miami Herald in April 1990, Trump slammed U.S. drug enforcement policy as “a joke,” and argued that tax dollars from a legalized, regulated narcotics industry could be spent on programs educating Americans about the dangers of drugs and addiction.

“We’re losing badly the war on drugs,” he said, rightly so, to the crowd of 700 people. “You have to legalize drugs to win that war. You have to take the profit away from these drug czars.”

The ultimate minority is the individual. Protect the individual from Democracy and you will protect all groups of individuals
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual. - Thomas Jefferson
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

In the article he said last month to Sean Hannity that he "feels strongly" about opposing Marijuana legalization.

Yeah. That's not the Trump of 2015.

The Trump of 2015 sees the federal government losing the war on drugs, or losing anything, or coming in second in anything, and finds that unacceptable. America must win! America must be #1! If drugs are beating us, we don't give up the fight, we pour more money into it, and fight harder until we win at any cost, if we have to imprison everyone in America besides Trump himself!

It won't take very long to get them home but it won't be overnight either but Iraq says they can't stay and they are coming home just like Trump said.

I wouldn't ever vote for someone who waffles like that. Unless he were to waffle to a position I like, then I'd make an exception.
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

I hope Rand gets the chance to ask him why he changed his view on drug policy.

Yes, I did. That's what I prefaced the title with the year. Trump wanted to eliminate the profit incentive of drug cartels with legalization.

If you knew he flip flopped on the issue, why did you start this thread in the first place?
