"PIG" found on Taco Bell food served to Kansas police officer, fiancé

How much you wanna bet there was spit (or worse) in that burrito?

NEWTON, Kan. - A Kansas police officer and his fiancé received an unwelcome message after ordering food from a local restaurant on Saturday.

The officer discovered the word "PIG" written on the packaging of the food they ordered from the Taco Bell at 1403 N. Main in Newton, Kan.

Pig is a derogatory nickname for police officers.

The photo went viral after an individual who does not work for the department posted it on social media.

In a Facebook post, the Newton Police Department said it holds no ill will towards the restaurant, but called the photo disappointing.

"The store manager is terribly apologetic of the actions of her employee and assures us the situation is being handled appropriately," part of the post reads. "A meeting this morning with the Senior Director of Operations yielded positive results, and we are actively working to develop a partnership with Taco Bell to host a community event in the near future. Details will be announced when available."

Though I guess the warning is actually pretty friendly.

It is common where I am to put a name with an order .

    Really?!

I thought it was a descriptor.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Even if you aren't a cop you take your life into your own hands eating there, IMO.

It seems to me that more than half the time this stuff goes viral it turns out to be a hoax or inside job.

How much you want to bet if there was a robbery the person who wrote that would be dialing 911 as fast as their fingers could dial?

Yeah better dial them quick so an officer can show up and make a report about it.

Given that fast-food workers are typically just the kind of people that cops target for harassment and persecution, I'd be surprised if more than 1 in 3 of orders placed by uniformed officers are not purposely contaminated in some way. A little bit of drain cleaner mixed in goes a long way.

Then write you summons for non compliance with lawn watering restrictions or some such nonsense.

Not the point, I just laugh at all the cop basher's because I've seen it over and over again, they whine and bitch yet are the first one's to call the cops when anything happens.

Sure they would, cuz that just happens all the time. BTW, I don't see how a cop could write a summons to the employee, not to mention that would be something handled by an ordinance officer and it is the city officials who make those ordinances, not patrolmen.

But, by all means, keep talking and demonstrating how little any of you know about these topics.
