At the party, supporters are encouraged to donate to the campaign's debate day moneybomb as well as sign up to volunteer. We used to do them in a bar at a small hotel, with the cooperation of management of course. It was free, and there was food and drink available. The staff would situate us in a corner where there was a TV available. It was the perfect environment.

And we always made sure it was clear that outsiders were welcome to join us.
