Because unlike Trump, they have nothing to lose by attending and are just hoping to score a few points with the local newspapers.

It's amazing that people are talking about 'knock-out blows', yet the first caucus isn't for 6 months.
Caucus might be 6 months away, but Jeb is on the ropes. The #Cuckservative meme is spreading like wildfire and between his "Americans should work more hours", his stated preference for Mexican workers over American workers, and his wife's lack of even being able to speak English despite 40 years in the country and that he himself speaks Spanish in his own home, Trump has more than enough material to completely eviscerate Jeb. If Jeb comes out of the debate polling under 5% (which is completely possible after Trump gets done with him), his campaign would be on life support. The establishment would pull their support and transfer their backing to Rubio.

The feeding frenzy has begun. Jindal just went after Bush for his Telemundo interview. Trump has really ratcheted up the hostilities.

Seems jeb should prioritize americans. Meaning mind our own business and not get involved in civil war or internal conflicts in non allied countries.... and to enforce current immigration laws. Pretty simple. But it seems to me jeb is trying too hard to please hispanics, that he might be starting alienating many republicans.

That being said... i wonder where trump support will go. It seem they like trump for anti illegal immigration and most of the other candidates are soft on illegal immigration.

Jeb marries a Mexican so he and the entire Bush family go overboard in a quest to ultimately eliminate the US-Mexican border. Amazing.

I may stop by from time to time to discuss philosophy on a general level related to Libertarian schools of thought and application in the real world.

Trump is $#@!ting on the conservative gatekeeper groups. This is his mega appeal.

You got the little first-in-the-nation groups who are going to say we must vote for Cruz but Cruz talks about our little issues like School choice and Ethanol or some minor crap.

Trump gives them the finger and rants about Mexico and China.

Not just trashing Clinton and McCain. The conservative gatekeeper groups who trash Rand on foreign policy are worse. Trump gives them the middle finger.

From a purely pro-Trump perspective Trump doesn't really need to debate outside of the major debates. Too much publicity for others.

BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky – Washington liberals are trying to push through the so-called DREAM Act, which creates an official path to Democrat voter registration for 2 million college-age illegal immigrants.

Cast it down among the eight millions of Negroes whose habits you know, whose
fidelity and love you have tested in days when to have proved treacherous meant the ruin of your firesides.

You people have short memories. Last election cycle, the two leading GOP candidates skipped the earliest of debates. Remember wondering when Mitt would jump into things?

Trump is the like the drunken, obnoxious frat boy that comes to your party and starts throwing self-appointed dignitaries off balconies. That's his appeal because no one usually dares taking them to task.

I don't see why Trump shouldn't be taken seriously. He has tested a campaign every cycle as far back as I can remember. This is the first time that the public has been pissed off enough to make a populist run by a crazy him brand recognition billionaire work.

He could go all the way, it would be a businessman vs secretary of state mired in controversy.

    Why wouldn't he?

I don't like the thought, but there is no logical reason for him not to making a really serious go of it.
    In New Zealand:
    The Coastguard is a Charity
Air Traffic Control is a private company run on user fees
The DMV is a private non-profit
Rescue helicopters and ambulances are operated by charities and are plastered with corporate logos
The agriculture industry has zero subsidies
5% of the national vote, gets you 5 seats in Parliament
A tax return has 4 fields
    Business licenses aren't a thing
    Prostitution is legal
We have a constitutional right to refuse any type of medical care
