Was there ever any doubt that this guy was a little off?

Sadly, a "Chester the Molester" cartoon I saw as a kid immediately came to mind. A bun with meat on it played a role.

So we are all going to believe the media on this right? I hate child abuse in all forms. But, I also know that people get set up all the time especially by their competition. it looks like he is going to get his trial and conviction in the media.

He was raided because the former director of his foundation was arrested a few months ago, for producing child porn. They must have suspected that Jared was also involved. But it doesn't look like they found anything in his house, because as far as I know, he hasn't been detained.

Exactly. They look at everyone who is associated with the main suspect. We don't know if he had anything to do with his former associate's actions.

Text reveals Subway’s Jared paid 16-year-old for sex: report

Former Subway sandwich spokesman Jared Fogle appears to admit in a text messsage to paying a 16-year-old girl $100 for sex, it was reported Friday.

The Business Insider Web site says the FBI subpoenaed an affidavit containing texts between Fogle and a former female Subway franchisee who apparently were in a relationship.

In several messages, he allegedly asks the woman to advertise herself on Craigslist for sex with other men so he could watch.

She responds to one text saying, “Is this the same website you found that 16-year-old girl that you f–ked. . . .I still can’t believe you only paid $100 for her.’’

Fogle responds, “It was amazing,’’ the story says.

BI’s source is an unidentified lawyer the woman hired after she complained to Subway, which allegedly did nothing.

Business Insider says it “independently verified’’ the authenticity of the affadavit. The age of consent in Indiana, where Fogle lives, is 16.

The franchisee also claims that Fogle asked her to set up a meeting with her underage cousin.

It was reported earlier that a Florida woman who worked as a TV journalist tipped the feds that Fogle told her he thought “middle school girls are hot.’’

Subway suspended its relationship with Fogle last month after authorities raided his home in Indiana.

    ...

The recordings were made by Rochelle Herman-Walrond, a former Florida journalist who took it upon herself to stop Fogle after hearing him profess his sexual taste for children. Masking her own disgust, she befriended Fogle so she could record and expose him.

She contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation, who asked her to wear a wire. Glossed over in the mainstream media, however, is the fact that the entire process took ten years, according to an interview Herman-Walrond gave to ABC News.

She wore a wire for four-and-a-half years before the FBI took action and arrested Fogle.

“That was my biggest question, ‘Why was it taking so long?’” journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond told ABC affiliate WWSB. “A case of this size just happens to take that long, and that’s what I was told.”
Herman-Walrond said she believes the total numbers of victims in Fogle’s perverteds spree is greater than 14, in the United States and “international tours” including Thailand.

As Fogle’s comments and admissions got more brazen over the years, he even began asking Herman-Walrond if he could install hidden cameras in the rooms of her two young children. He asked her if she had any friends with “hot” children.

All of this paints a picture of a wealthy, connected pedophile who had years to direct his energies into victimizing more and more children. During this time, he enriched and enabled those who provided access to the kids, in the U.S. and in other countries.

For at least four years, the FBI had evidence of Fogle’s criminal behavior and chose to let the abuse continue. As Herman-Walrond asked, why did it take so long to stop him?

The casual excuse is the bureaucracy itself, but we know that when the government wants to act quickly, it does. It does not hesitate in killing, disappearing, or jailing those it deems are a threat to government, and it sets aside constitutional protections to do so.

However, when the threat is in the form of sexual predation on children, government takes its time because “it just happens to take that long.”

As the horrible audio tapes of Jared Fogle are broadcast for the world, we should also demand some answers from the FBI on why it allowed this pedophilia to grow.

FBI was aware Jared Fogle was a pedophile years before his arrest

    http://www.inquisitr.com/2534363/fbi...t-report-says/

Was the FBI aware Jared Fogle was a pedophile for years before his arrest? Recent reports suggest they were and now a bombshell claim has been revealed. By now, most Americans are aware that the former Subway spokesman is in hot water after his underground pedophiliac lifestyle was uncovered. Back in July, Fogle made headlines when his home was raided.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations and Indiana State Police confiscated computers and a number of other electronic devices from Fogle’s home. The incriminating evidence led to Fogle’s arrest. As expected, the story created a media firestorm that fizzled over time. But, a recent New York Post report has made Fogle the center of controversy yet again.

On Friday, Oct. 30, a secret audio tape of an incriminating conversation between Jared Fogle and Rochelle Herman-Walrond, a former Florida journalist. After hearing Fogle profess his desires for underage children, Herman-Walrond decided to take the law into her own hands and seek justice for the victims he tormented. After contacting the FBI, Herman-Walrond was asked to wear a wire so a verbal admission could be recorded. Now, the audio of that particular conversation has been released to the public.

At one point during the conversation, Fogle expressed desire to travel to another country in hopes of getting “young kids.” Although Herman-Walrond was quite disgusted after hearing Fogle express his desires, she played along in order to have the full conversation recorded.

“I would fly us clear across the world if we need to. To Thailand or wherever we want to go. If we’re gonna try to get some young kids with us it would be a lot easier,” said 38-year-old Fogle, married father of two, in the tapes. “I had a little boy. It was amazing. It just felt so good. I mean, it felt — it felt so good.”

However, the evidence against Jared Fogle was based on more than one recorded conversation. In fact, there were several – over a period of four years. Herman-Walrond revealed she’d been wearing a wire for four-and-a-half years each time she spoke with Fogle and the FBI did not take action for quite some time.

Once Fogle became comfortable with Herman-Walrond, he began making more brazen requests. The conversations reportedly evolved over time, as Jared Fogle’s admissions and statements At one point he’d even asked “if he could install hidden cameras in the rooms of her two young children” and if children made her “hot,” according to Raw Story.

Even with the recorded conversations, it reportedly took the FBI 10 years to conduct a full investigation and make a move on Jared Fogle. Although Herman-Walrond played a significant role in the investigation, she still wonders why it has taken long to bring Fogle down.

“That was my biggest question, ‘Why was it taking so long?'” journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond told ABC affiliate WWSB. “A case of this size just happens to take that long, and that’s what I was told.”

However, it is still unclear why the investigation took so long. However, Jared Fogle is now paying the price for his actions. Fogle has been sentenced to a minimum of 5 years behind bars and ordered to pay $1.4 million in restitution—$100,000 to each victim. Needless to say, the FBI’s slow movements – along with a sentence many see as a slap on the wrist – have angered an overwhelming number of social media users. Many outraged Americans have also taken to social media to voice their frustrations.

What do you think about Jared Fogle’s case? Has the FBI been extremely lenient based on his perverse actions? Share your thoughts.

Perhaps the FBI needed to make sure that the investigation would not compromise the criminal acts of people that they wouldn't dare to ever prosecute.

Jared is not going to have to choose between a 6 inch and a 12 inch now. He's going to get both.
