More water fluoridation = more ADHD

The evidence from a new scientific research study shows that children who live in water districts where the water supply is systematically fluoridated suffer with ADHD at a significantly higher rate.

“A multivariate regression analysis showed that after socioeconomic status was controlled each 1 percent increase in artificial fluoridation prevalence in 1992 was associated with approximately 67,000 to 131,000 additional ADHD diagnoses from 2003 to 2011.” [1]

For those who are not initiated in the realm of medical statistics, the number of additional diagnoses cited above is extraordinary by any standard of measurement. This study conclusively demonstrates that fluoride exposure among children and adolescents has significant consequences, primarily because of their formative stage of growth and development.

Correlation does not equal causation. The link between the lack of a high school diploma and being ignorant is much stronger.

    Very interesting.

Fluoridation May Not Prevent Cavities, Scientific Review Shows

By Douglas Main 6/29/15 at 2:57 PM

If you’re like two-thirds of Americans, fluoride is added to your tap water for the purpose of reducing cavities. But the scientific rationale for putting it there may be outdated, and no longer as clear-cut as was once thought.

Water fluoridation, which first began in 1945 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and expanded nationwide over the years, has always been controversial. Those opposed to the process have argued—and a growing number of studies have suggested—that the chemical may present a number of health risks, for example interfering with the endocrine system and increasing the risk of impaired brain function; two studies in the last few months, for example, have linked fluoridation to ADHD and underactive thyroid. Others argue against water fluoridation on ethical grounds, saying the process forces people to consume a substance they may not know is there—or that they’d rather avoid.

Despite concerns about safety and ethics, many are content to continue fluoridation because of its purported benefit: that it reduces tooth decay. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Oral Health, the main government body responsible for the process, says it’s “safe and effective.”

Since most people use flouride toothpaste, it would be hard to say that flouride offers no benefit in terms of cavities. The ADDITIONAL flouride offered no significant differences.

“From the review, we’re unable to determine whether water fluoridation has an impact on caries levels in adults,” Glenny says. (“Tooth decay,” “cavities” and “caries” all mean the same thing: breakdown of enamel by mouth-dwelling microbes.)
Meaning they can't really say one way or the other.

That's because you tell a lie over and over and people began to believe it.

Hitler used it and Stalin used it, that should make people say, "Hmm..."

A Harvard Study showed how it lowers IQ in children as well.

I think that if there really is an increase in the occurrence of ADHD, rather than merely an increase in the incidence of ADHD diagnoses, amphetamines are the reason why. Hyper people used to gravitate to sedate and introspective people, because opposites do attract. But the hyper now really like to self-medicate with meth, and tweakers tend to band together--in no small part because that seems to them to be protection from getting turned in to the cops. And, once tweaking, their clothes tend to come off.

So, instead of the hyper mixing their genes with people who have difficulty getting their asses off the couch, and possibly producing a child who is in the happy middle, they're increasingly likely to mix their genes with each other.

The differences in the Harvard study (which actually looked at some other studies in China) showed possibly 3-5 point differences. A person's IQ test score can vary by five to six in just a day so it was well within normal variations. Not exactly a correlation.
