Jerry Brown signs California vaccine bill

Law eliminates religious and personal belief exemptions for vaccines
Brown says ‘the science is clear’ on vaccines

    June 30, 2015

Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed one of the strictest schoolchild vaccination laws in the country, eliminating personal and religious belief exemptions for vaccines.

The governor’s signature came one day after the state Senate moved the bill to his desk, following months of protests and fierce debate at the Capitol.

“The science is clear that vaccines dramatically protect children against a number of infectious and dangerous diseases,” Brown said in a signing statement. “While it’s true that no medical intervention is without risk, the evidence shows that immunization powerfully benefits and protects the community.”

The bill will make California the third state in the nation to require vaccines without religious and personal belief exemptions.

Despite passionate opposition to the bill, a poll by the Public Policy Institute of California this month found support for mandatory vaccines from 67 percent of California adults and 65 percent of public school parents.
Ain't democracy wonderful. 67/65% is in favor of forcing the rest..

I guess this is the next thing the supreme court is going to rule is 'perfectly ok'.

Well, when Theire instruments come to force vaccines on me I will kiss this life goodbye. But not before escorting those bastards into the void before I, too, go.

    Exactly.

There are going to be lawsuits. Hopefully SCOTUS will pull one out for us.

Ha! Don't count on it. The Reagan Supreme Court under his presidency in 1986 gave pharmaceutical companies total legal immunity from harm caused by vaccines and the National Vaccine Compensation Program. I think only Sotomayer dissented when this was challenged in 2011. The SCOTUS is firmly entrenched in providing a "safe market" for vaccines. The best hope is to get some positive court rulings before reaching SCOTUS, and some fresh blood on SCOTUS, but I wouldn't hold your breath on that.

So those with a personal objection must now home school, as they are banned from public school, yet they still must pay taxes for public schools I am sure. Califorians forced to pay for something they aren't allowed to use. Ain't democracy grand?

How long until CA will split in two so that those that want to escape the Democratic Republic of California can flee to the south?

Very soon, every exemption, for any reason of conscience, will be eliminated because "the science is clear".

This is the essence of secular facism.
