Mylan to U.S. Government: We Want Everything for Free

Mylan’s leadership admitted last year that it was shifting its headquarters to the Netherlands for tax purposes, but now they are saying with a straight face that they’d actually like to remain American citizens in ways that don’t subject them to the U.S. corporate tax structure. They also really think there shouldn’t be any hard feelings. “We know the inversion has invoked a lot of emotional and political banter but the reality is we remain a U.S. issuer under all of the formal and informal guidelines,” Mylan’s CEO Heather Bresch said earlier this week in a Bloomberg news report.
Whats your opinion about this guys?

Every dollar not paid to the US government in taxes is one more dollar in private hands and one less dollar going towards mass murder and the tyranny machine.

Then they should get on board with Rand Paul and support his campaign.

They want the US government to stop a hostile takeover bid. The bid comes from an Israeli pharmaceutical company, so I'd guess they are barking up the wrong tree anyways. Scum of the earth imo.

The corporation isn't American. I don't have a problem with them leaving but I also don't think "we" owe them any favors either. They made their bed.

A dollar in private hands is not necessarily not going to the mass murder and tyranny machine. That dollar could be in the hands of a banker or industry lobbyist.

or, the Gov will make up for it by placing it on joe/jane taxpayer.

We're being governed ruled by a geriatric Alzheimer patient/puppet whose strings are being pulled by an elitist oligarchy who believe they can manage the world... imagine the utter maniacal, sociopathic hubris!

It has a better chance, even if not a certainty, of being put to productive use in private hands. In government hands it is certain to be used to perpetuate tyranny.

Bad acts by government in one sector should never be used to justify bad acts by government in another sector. That inevitably leads to ever larger government. We need to cut off every limb that gets within reach of our sword and remove every morsel of food from within reach of the beast's mouth, regardless of what jackel might eat it in turn. We need to keep our eyes on the enemy. With government cut down to size, the crony-capitalist fade away on their own.
