Rand cuts his own hair. This man is brilliant.

Pretty good interview. It is mostly about his book. He says the reason he is running for President is because no one else wants to do anything about excessive spending. On how to win the nomination he says the candidate has to stake out positions, and on many of these positions (like balanced budget, domestic surveillance, foreign policy), he's the only candidate taking them.

At the end, he also says he won't be running for President every 4 years, this is his shot and he's putting everything into it.

It was a good interview, in that Rand was allowed to expand on his core issues and beliefs. But the interviewer did not get at all confrontational or challenge Rand about anything - which is what makes a great interview (if Rand handles it well)

Good interview for people who are unfamiliar with Rand's core political beliefs.

This is a good video to send via facebook or other social media to your friends who perhaps are only starting to think about the Presidential contest now and forming opinions. Need to make outreach and find more supporters outside the existing circle.

    Followed my own advice.

    H. L. Mencken said it best:

“Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.”

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

This was the 23rd. Not the 28th btw. I'm not trying to be picky or a dick.

It's good that he's still willing to criticize Reagan. Rand's brand of libertarianism is definitely from a different era than his dad's.
