Thread: Why is there so many Bernie Sanders Supporters on Youtube

  1. #31
Don't forget the paid astroturf armies and bots that infest all comment sections, forums and social media. I don't have a link handy but, for example, studies have already shown that well over half Hillary's and Jeb's Twitter followers are "fake" accounts.

That's not to say that socialism isn't becoming somewhat popular amongst the disenfranchised young people and there are plenty that like Sanders (different ideologies, yes, but same principle as Gravel and Ron's early support). I don't think his support is nearly as strong as it's being represented though.
"Let it not be said that we did nothing."-Ron Paul

"We have set them on the hobby-horse of an idea about the absorption of individuality by the symbolic unit of COLLECTIVISM. They have never yet and they never will have the sense to reflect that this hobby-horse is a manifest violation of the most important law of nature, which has established from the very creation of the world one unit unlike another and precisely for the purpose of instituting individuality."- A Quote From Some Old Book

This seems ripe for parody: Any good musicians out there?

Obviously the YouTube should feature opposition logo's and any cartoons on the subject that can be found.

I started to hack into it. My changes in bold.

One type of song that has come into increasing prominence in recent months is the folk-song of protest. You have to admire people who sing these songs. It takes a certain amount of courage to get up in a coffee-house or a college auditorium and come out in favor of the things that everybody else in the audience is against like peace and justice and brotherhood and so on. The nicest thing about a protest song is that it makes you feel so good. I have a song here which I realise should be accompanied on a folk instrument in which category the piano does not alas qualify so imagine if you will that I am playing an 88 string guitar.

    We are the AstroTurf Army.
    Every keystroke we make lies.
We all love poverty, war, and injustice,
Just so long as it pays.

    There are innocuous folk songs.
Yeah, but we regard 'em with scorn.
The folks who work here have no social conscience.
Why they only care if the check bounces.

    If you feel dissatisfaction,
    Strum your frustrations away.
    Some people may prefer action,
But give me a folk song any old day.

The tune don't have to be clever,
And it don't matter if you put a coupla extra syllables into a line.
It sounds more ethnic if it ain't good English,
    And it don't even gotta rhyme--excuse me--rhyne.

    Remember the war against Franco?
That's the kind where each of us belongs.
Though he may have won all the battles,
We had all the good songs.

So join in the AstroTurf Army,
Keyboards are the weapons we bring
To the fight for crony capitalism, poverty, war, and injustice.
    Ready! Aim! Type! - KA-CHING

But you can't link to anything that would back your claim..

What do you think on this?
It is because unlike most every candidate announced, Bernie Sanders is authentic and genuine. That draws people to him.

To be genuine, a Senator would not only have to give lip service to an audit of the Federal Reserve, but follow through.

Authentic is a word that could be used to describe a con man. Genuine is not. Voting records are useful for separating the genuine from the false. And Sanders' record does not do that.

Bernie Sanders is a "left cover" asset who is clearly run by the establishment, as evidenced by his protection of the Federal Reserve in May, 2011. If his handlers or the puppet masters tell him to go to war, he will do it in a heartbeat with the most "anguished" of resurrected poser left talking points. The candidate who would ACTUALLY be the least likely to lead the U.S. into war is Rand Paul by a wide margin.

Why is there so many Bernie Sanders Supporters on Youtube

I encountered a lot of them. From 1st lieutenant to 2 star so far. The most common one is captains. And no, dont tell me to go report them. Because you know ,it will get ignored as usual. This is the way blackshot appreciate the helpful community, by ignoring our reports. So if you dont give a damn, why should I? Hypocrites every where.

    Bernie Sanders is a
    Populist/Democrat.
    He is Anti-War and
    his stance is like that
    of Eugene McCarthy.
    Mike Gravel is not
    running in 2o16. If
    we keep in mind
    that Elizabeth Warren
    and Bernie Sanders
    have this habit of
    making Hillary C
    look like a total
    politician, 2o16 is
    about to heat up!

I surely cannot say that he isn't running just to take votes away from Rand, but I doubt it. Rand has been more hawkish on ISIS than Bernie, and that is of course the threat of the day. And too, it is unreasonable to use the 'Guns vs Butter' debate as a metric for how 'anti-war' someone is?

He's sort of running to take votes from Rand. By giving them Bernie, the Democratic Party hopes to keep their sheep in their own primaries, and prevent them from switching registration (where required) and voting in the primary (GOP) where there's a non-imperialist (Rand) to vote for. So, they sort of want to steal votes from him. Mostly, they want to keep him from stealing votes from them.

But mostly he's there to make Clinton look downright reasonable. She isn't. But stand her next to a socialist, and she begins to look somewhat sane.

In any case, you can be sure Sanders is there to perform a service the powers that be--including Clinton--want done. Otherwise, when someone says his name you'd be saying, 'Who?' Just like you do when you read the name Martin O'Malley.
