I personally think most American soldiers are bullies and wannabe dictators.

If they invested in a lawful and peaceful method of defending the constitution, and upholding their oath, and assuring they were not sacrificed for conquest of the empire, you would not think that way.

I'm a non-authoritarian socialist. I think there are better ways to encourage people to pay their taxes than force. If people are denied the privilege of accessing the public commons, they will be more than happy to pay their taxes, I think, in order to access them. This includes the rich and private corporations. If they evade taxes, I don't support throwing them in jail or taking their money by force but I have no problem with stripping them of their business licensing, because all businesses depend on the public commons. If you're not chipping in for something that belongs to "the public" IMO you have no right to use it and any utilization of it is a form of theft. It's no different from forging an airplane ticket.

I have no problem with this, as long as the punishment for transacting with such a business (which has lost its business license from your government) is towards the voluntary participant in your socialist government and not toward the business owner.
