He doesn't have to be the #1 option for SoCons but I would like him to make an effort for their votes. I had a hard time convincing people to vote for RP in 08 and 12 because most didn't even know he was a Christian.

Not that He Who Must Not Be Named didn't tell them, and make the effort.

All this talk of "SoCons" and yet the GOP nominees since Reagan haven't been exactly been the SoCons first choices and when it comes to some of the biggest delegations to the GOP conventions: New York, California, Illinois, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, SoCons really don't play much of role in those state's politics.

People who want morality should consult their bishops or preachers, not their politicans.
