All that means is they recount what the machines are saying. Bevin is claiming victory.

The re-canvassing probably won't change the outcome. Even if it did, I don't think either Comer or Bevin can beat Conway. Kentucky likes their Democrat governors. Kentucky has had Democrat governors for 40 out of the last 44 years.

Conway would be a disaster for Kentucky,

It might, and there is also the possibility of an actual recount.

Then he goes into the Gub primary hesitantly knowing his endorsement would not be as important had he not went with Mitch.

If he stayed out of the 2014 Senate primary, he could have came in and endorsed wholeheartedly his Gub choice.

I don't think Bevin has a chance against Conway. Who knows though...

People should get behind Bevin NOW. If the recount ends up changing the outcome then so be it. But times a wasting, and Bevin as the winner until otherwise noted needs the resources and volunteers to win this November. Bevin is a good guy, the establishment will probably treat him how they treated Ken in Virginia a while back. Its up to the grassroots to step up.

What's the impact of the delay?
There is a twist to this that involves Bevin, however. Until those results are certified, Bevin is prohibited by state law from raising any more money for his campaign, meaning any delay means more time for Conway to build his war chest unimpeded.

This. Bevin would be (no contest) the top liberty governor in the nation.

I'm proud to say my family cast three of those votes. more then 3%.

fyi - there is no automatic recount in kentucky. there is recanvas, which is basically checking that the totals each district turned in was what was totaled. Individual votes are not looked at as in a recount. The recanvas shouldnt change the total at all. did you turn in xxx? yes we turned in xxx.

And where's all the uproar about none of the candidates having a majority of the vote (like there was in the McAuliffe/Cuccinelli/Sarvis race)?
Lol, 83 people decided this election. If 84 Bevin voters had stayed home, or voted for Comer this would have had a different outcome. Any Bevin voter, or volunteer who spent a weekend knocking on doors can pat himself on the back knowing he was critical to the outcome of this race.

I don't remember any uproar about none of the candidates having a majority. If Cuccinelli had pulled a plurality of votes, most of his supporters would have been happy. The winning number is what matters.
