So far I've liked his discussion about Total Depravity in marriage. So many people look to marriage as finding a person who will make them happy and that is a set up for disaster.
Sola - Can you give a synopsis on this? I'm very interested.
I thought the guy in the vid did a really good job explaining his pov--then all of the sudden--he sucked up a big load of snot--awe man--ack-ack-bleeeech-ewee-- grossed me out and I had to stop the vid--but everything up to that point seemed really good.
That's actually the first time I've ever heard the "Total Depravity" doctrine explained that way.
Bump. Thoughts?

I had a chance to listen this morning and he is fantastic. I took notes. I completely agree that once we learn the doctrine of total depravity, we never stop growing with it and always go back to it.
He knows Scripture and it is actually exciting to listen to someone who pulls these doctrines together, the Doctrines of Grace.
Look forward to spending time at his website and blog.
I see quite a few people clicked on this thread, and perhaps did not listen to the video.
I was not going to watch it at first because it is a half-hour long.
When I finally decided to listen, I was glad I did.
He is sitting in his basement, quite laid back, and talking about the Doctrines of Grace. It is educational and easy listening.
