WASHINGTON - He's only been an official candidate for president for a week, and now Republican Rand Paul is getting the comic book treatment.
The Kentucky senator is among several comic books already out or planned on the lives and political views of the 2016 White House hopefuls.
Paul announced his candidacy for president in Louisville a week ago, then hit the key early states of New Hampshire, South Carolina, Iowa and Nevada.
Political Power: Rand Paul, being published by Bluewater Productions at the affordable price of $3.99, depicts the White House hopeful with his now-trademark curly locks and perhaps-not-yet-trademark piercing blue eyes.
Among the episodes in the comic book are tangles between Paul and the media, and a confrontation with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, according to sample pages the publisher has released.

This election cycle, comic books already have been produced on Clinton (an updated edition is planned), Vice President Joe Biden and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Still to come are comic-book lives of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and others, according to the publisher.
