    Water restrictions in California

Government tomfuckery at its best. If water prices were set by the free market and not fixed by socialist utilities you wouldn't have to worry about joe $#@! taking hour showers in the first place.
I too have been a close observer of the doings of the Bank of the United States...When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank...You are a den of vipers and thieves. I have determined to rout you out, and by the Eternal, I will rout you out!

It's a power grab.. most of the water comes from outside of California, and the vast majority of the water use in the state goes to agriculture - agriculture that feeds the entire country.

Water has long been a precious resource in California, the subject of battles pitting farmer against city-dweller and northern communities against southern ones; books and movies have been made about its scarcity and plunder.
California has a lot of arid land. There have always been periodic droughts, and when that happens, there is not enough water to transport to the semi-deserts and deserts.

The progressive left is insane. They whine constantly about water, pollution, lack of open space for endangered animals, "climate change" due to humans, energy use, expensive housing, traffic, congestion. Those "problems" all have the same cause: too many people. Their solution? Expand immigration and bring the whole world to California! Brilliant!
