Why is the UN bad for the US?

Can anyone offer quality and reliable writing/video explaining the problems with the US being part of the UN? Hopefully the information which can be provided will not be overly lengthy. Thank you.

The UN does not have to abide the US Constitution.

“The spirits of darkness are now among us. We have to be on guard so that we may realize what is happening when we encounter them and gain a real idea of where they are to be found. The most dangerous thing you can do in the immediate future will be to give yourself up unconsciously to the influences which are definitely present.” ~ Rudolf Steiner

If government is bad and incompetent, how can the government of governments be anything but super-bad and super-incompetent?

The UN represents global governance. If you read UN policy statements and its various other publications such as the Declaration of Human Rights, a good critical eye will easily pick up the fact that nearly everything they say is a great steaming pile. This is a reasonable example of such an analysis - in this case the Preamble to the Declaration. It talk talk talks a whole lot for some 30 articles and says virtually nothing.

Then consider UN Agenda 21. For example and to wit, the following statement:

Policies should be designed to address the consequences of population growth builtinto population momentum, while at the same time incorporating measures to bring aboutdemographic transition

Even the most cursory semantic analysis reveals the absence of substantive and specific meaning in the sentence. It is literally gibberish insofar as delivery of clear and deterministic message is concerned. The statement may be interpreted in what I would bet could me any of hundreds of different ways, at the very least.

There is only one correct way: freedom. All other solutions are non-solutions.

    Regulation without Representation.

Every day, an increasing number of US citizens fall under the regulatory burden of UN rules and mandates that no representative body ever voted for or approved.

I will answer your question with another question:

What good has the UN ever done for the US taxpayer?
