Environmental chair throws snowball on Senate floor to rail against global warming (VIDEO)

Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) does not believe that humans contribute to global warming, and on Thursday he took to the Senate floor with some hard evidence in tow: a snowball. Then he threw it.

In a speech criticizing the “hysteria” around global warming, Inhofe – who chairs the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works – pointed to a particular snowstorm five years ago that set a new record at the time, seemingly suggesting that heavy snowfall is proof against climate change.

Then he pointed to a snowball he brought into the chamber in a plastic bag.

Staying after class is passe in this day and age. You now get arrested/charged with a felony:

A 13-year-old boy is accused of chucking a snowball at a Chicago police officer - who immediately hit back with a felony charge against the teen.

In New York, the city shelled out hundreds of thousands of dollars to five teens who were arrested for throwing a snowball at a cop in February 2010.

The cop pulled his gun on the boys, who were originally charged with a crime.

Those charges were later dropped and the five sued for $10 million - settling for $60,000 each earlier this month.

Hey, it's the New Normal. Apparently in today's world, when confronted with a snowball the first reaction of some people is "CALL THE POLICE!"

From the Kingsport, TN police blotter:

Shortly after 11 p.m. a man called police to a road in Piney Flats. Upon arrival, the complainant relayed walking down the street when suddenly, "a snowball hit him in the head." He couldn't advise a direction from which the projectile had been launched, saying no one was near him when the strike occurred. He was offered transport to the hospital by EMS but declined. The deputy filed a memo on the incident and departed.

Well, at least somebody had a good comment in the comments section. I guess.

they should of put a rock in the snowball that hit the little puss....what a beeotch

Here's another good police report from the same page:

A Kingsport man dialed dispatch to report his "grandson was raising Cain again" — then abruptly disconnected the call.
    Dip$#@!.

I really think this "police blotter" crap fuels this petty and tattle tale mentality of the public. The TV show COPS made a living at it. At least some YouTube videos of police evil and abuse has set the record a little more straight.

Okay, back to the topic at hand.
