Special Election to be held

Congressman Alan Nunnelee passed away this past week. His seat leaves a vacancy in MS District 1. The governor has 60 days to call a special election. Date has not been set yet.

Danny Bedwell has announced he will run again for this seat. This will be a nonpartisan race - no political party will be on the ballot next to his name. Danny needs our financial support now to get him on the radio, TV, newspapers etc!

It wasn't until the last month up to the election that the GOP started seeing the noise his campaign was making and had to put out a number of press releases that the Incumbent was in good enough health to continue on, even though he had been absent the entire campaign season due to his health. Danny needs name recognition. Will you help us out?

Danny Bedwell is solid on the issues. He earned 2.5% of the vote in the last election. Presumably, the vote # is going to be smaller in a speciate election, so he will probably need to get at least 50K votes to be competitive. How does his campaign plan to get there?

The campaign needs $$ to get his name heard. He isn't seen as a viable candidate because he has not had enough $.. The Libertarian party is not well established in the state that their message gets heard. We are up against the Barbour machine here.

If you look at his results from 2012 vs 2010 they are double... Everywhere he goes and is able to get his message is received with enthusiasm and he gains voters.
