Can anyone suggest a great podcast?

One day a week im in the car about 3 hours and I'm in search of a good podcast. Hopefully there is a podcast discussing liberty (current events or general education). But I'm also fascinated with the constitution so any podcasts about that topic would be great too. If none of these apply, what do you enjoy listening to in the car?
    thank you

I haven't been listening regularly in a while, but I always liked Joe Rogan's podcast - Adam Carolla has a pretty good podcast as well.

They are both comedians, so there is not a liberty-centric agenda and at times they can both be on the wrong side of the issue. Joe Rogan is more often pro-liberty but Adam Carolla is really good at ranting against socialism, government regulations and the police.

Joe Rogan talks with his guests a lot about comedy, health, UFC, politics, history, cannabis and psychoactive substances. He will also entertain conspiracy theories in a serious and legitimate way without trivializing them or just assuming that they are true.

"Each of us must choose which course of action we should take: education, conventional political action, or even peaceful civil disobedience to bring about necessary changes. But let it not be said that we did nothing." - Ron Paul

"Paul said "the wave of the future" is a coalition of anti-authoritarian progressive Democrats and libertarian Republicans in Congress opposed to domestic surveillance, opposed to starting new wars and in favor of ending the so-called War on Drugs."

I dunno if what I listen to qualifies as a "podcast" or not (I'm technologically fairly ignorant) but I have really gotten into Free Talk Live lately. I listen to it on my phone on breaks on a thing called Zhia (I think). Anyhow here is what I fully believe is a link to podcasts:

I love the JRE. The latest one with Randall Carlson (#606) about catastrophic events in history was awesome. Listened to it 4 times already and going back for more

Bill is good too. He is the only one who can talk about sports that I can actually listen to.

Also check out Dan Carlin's Hardcore History and Dan Carlin's Common Sense. Hardcore History is the best history lessons I have ever heard and Common Sense is a political discussion that sounds like it should be here on the forums.

Also if you like toilet humor (I tend not to) and stupid youtube clips being made fun of check out Your Mom's House with comedians Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky. There were some episodes that were the funniest podcasts I have ever heard, to the point that I had to pull over while driving cause I couldn't see from laughing too hard (first time ever)

Since I am on comedy The Big 3 Podcast is like a real life Truman show. It centers around a homophobic, misogynistic, rascist, lying $#@! that thinks that he is a good actor and the great Don Barris and "Mole" taunt him and mess with him to no end. Almost everything on the show is fake from fake "$10 shout outs" that people write in to the former producer of their movie who "calls in" (it is really just Mole prerecorded and played back perfectly to seem like he is on the phone). Just like Your Mom's House, almost everything is a reoccuring joke or callback. It just ended last year but the archives are awesome.

I have heard that the "RadioLab" podcast is great too but I haven't looked into it yet.

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History and his Common Sense show. Here's a sample of his history show. Epic podcast!

Show 43 - Wrath of the Khans I
In one of the most violent outbursts in history a little-known tribe of Eurasian nomads breaks upon the great societies of the Old World like a human tsunami. It may have ushered in the modern era, but at what cost?
    Wrath of the Khans I

Show 44 - Wrath of the Khans II
The Mongol leader Genghis Khan displays an unmatched level of strategic genius while moving against both Northern China and the Eastern Islamic world. Both civilizations are left stunned and millions are slaughtered.
    Wrath of the Khans II

Show 45 - Wrath of the Khans III
The expansion of Genghis Khan's conquests continue, with locations as far apart as Europe and China feeling the bloody effects of Mongol warfare and retribution. Can anything halt the carnage?
    Wrath of the Khans III

Show 46 - Wrath of the Khans IV
The death of Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire, should have slowed the momentum of Mongol conquests, but instead it accelerated it. This time though, all of Europe is on the Mongol hit list.
    Wrath of the Khans IV

Show 47 - Wrath of the Khans V
Succession issues weaken the Mongol Empire as the grandchildren of Genghis Khan fight over their imperial inheritance. This doesn't stop them from dealing out pain, suffering, and ironically good governance while doing so.

Jan Mickelson is a radio host from Des Moines Iowa. He puts his daily radio show in a podcast format for download here http://mickelson.libsyn.com/ He's an astute observer of politics, history, culture, economics, etc.

Here's a short clip of his show to give you a sense where Mickelson is coming from. I think he's great.

Joe Rogan's podcast is entertaining. He's definitely on a journey of enlightenment so it's fun seeing him learn along the way. His podcast also hosts a wide range of topics so it never gets stale. My dream is to see Tom Woods on the podcast educating Joe for a full 3 hours Download Rogan's podcast here http://podcasts.joerogan.net/

Randall Carlson discussing the climate and the Earth and why the debate isn't settled

Ali Rizvi discussing Islam, middle east, etc.

    The Coastguard is a Charity
Air Traffic Control is a private company run on user fees
The DMV is a private non-profit
Rescue helicopters and ambulances are operated by charities and are plastered with corporate logos
The agriculture industry has zero subsidies
5% of the national vote, gets you 5 seats in Parliament
A tax return has 4 fields
    Business licenses aren't a thing
    Prostitution is legal
We have a constitutional right to refuse any type of medical care

Joe Rogan, Bill Burr, Adam Carolla, Radiolab, The Drunken Taoist, Dan Carlin, Marc Maron.

My two favorite podcast episodes of all time were mentioned above -- the Randall Carlson episodes of Joe Rogan's podcast were just amazing. The evidence supporting claims of great floods 12ish thousand years ago is just astonishing, and when you dig into the details of it, and how climate changes have impacted human history, it really gets interesting!

Free talk live is my favorite podcast (and live broadcast). I've been listening and calling that show for 10 years. When I call I'm "Gene the Christian Anarchist". I used to call several times a week but lately it's more like once every two months. Mainly because the show is so popular now that Ian usually doesn't give you much time to flesh out what you want to say. In the old days you could count on a few minutes of air time but lately you are lucky to get a minute and then the "cut off" is pretty blunt so you don't really have time to say "and one more thing...". That's showbiz I guess. I've seen Ian "evolve" (with some help from me I think) from a small-government atheist to a no-government theist of some nature. I think he's almost a "Christian Anarchist" himself now but he won't admit it of course. He prefers the term "voluntarist" but it's anarchist by another name. His transition to being someone who now believes in some kind of "spirit" is an even bigger transition for him and I do believe that I had some influence on his evolution but I bet he will deny it. I really think of him as my nephew or something. Someday I hope to meet him.
