Well, there you go. I doubt the President would even sign this, even if it would be a big deal if it passed....and President Obama would likely veto it.
Any legislator who votes against this should be (politically) bludgeoned with their bad vote in the next election hopefully causing them to lose their seat. Over time, rinse lather and repeat, bad legislators will be replaced with better legislators. Ideally enough so that there is a veto override available.Originally Posted by Mr.NoSmile

Some people feel that those who favored the recent government shutdown should have lost their seats, but most of them were re-elected anyway. It would take more than one vote.
