New York Cop Pulls Gun on Teens Having Snowball Fight
Fearing for his life, a New York cop pulled a gun on a group of teens having a snowball fight

Fearing for his life, a New York cop pulled a gun on a group of teens having a snowball fight.

“Don’t $#@!ing move, guys,” the New Rochelle police officer can be heard on video as he points his gun at the youths, who are down on their knees with their hands in the air.

The cop proceeds to pat each of the youths down with one hand while holding the gun, continually telling them not to move.

Once the officer realized the fear was all in his head, he released the teens with no charges.

The officer had initially responded to a “disturbance,” according to Raw Story.

The video was recorded by a witness who stated the following:

“They were having a snowball fight, ” she explained. “This group of guys was having a snowball fight and now a cop has a gun on them.”

These teens are lucky to have escaped the long arm of the law without injury. Perhaps they read New York Mayor Bill de Blasio’s advice to his son Dante on how to deal with the police.

The video was originally posted on a site called New Rochelle’s Talk of the Sound but that site has crashed due to so many views of this video. The second video showing the cop releasing the teens is also on that site.

I can imagine some neighbor thought the kids were being to loud and complained to police to handle it. Cop shows up prepared for a disturbance and over reacts.

Responding to a *disturbance* call? Talk about party poopers. The kids were out of school because the governor and mayor shut everything down. Are they supposed to stay inside and play Mah Jhong all day? Sheesh. It's not a nuisance for kids to go out and play during the day.

Lots of busybodies in this story.

Don't be ridiculous. Who's afraid of a bunch of penguins?

Now Siberia, on the other hand, could prove to be a treasure trove of Snowballs of Mass Destruction in Vladimir Putin's hands!

Well, you know. If kids burn up a bunch of energy doing things like throwing snowballs at each other, then how can Michelle Obama get away with misdirecti--er, I mean saving education money by starving them?

C'mon man, seriously, think about it.

They are not "afraid" of us in any way, shape or form.

Cops view us either with indifference or outright contempt.

"I feared for my safety" is simply nothing more than the legal magick words and phrases that they need to intone, prior to drawing guns on us, siccing their dogs on us, beating us to death, tasering us, killing our pets, grenading baby's faces off or blowing us clean away.

Saying the magick words and phrases ensures no legal punishment will befall them.

And the vast majority of AmeriKunts are happy with this arrangement and in fact, want it expanded.

    Depends.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Oh, I'm aware that it's not real fear that they possess, but it certainly should cause us mundanes to ponder what situation does NOT cause a cop fear with all of the ridiculous situations in which a cop claims to be afraid. It really should cause us to wonder about their bravery if they really are afraid of everything they say they are.

It really should seem ridiculous to the casual observer how often a cop claims fear and then to turn around and call them heroes. How heroic can a person be if they are as afraid on a daily basis as much as a cop is?

So, no, I'm under no illusion that this is legitimate fear. I just wonder why people aren't questioning the sheer absurdity of claiming someone is a hero when they $#@! themselves in fear of the most mundane things we can think of. This happens every day and yet we don't question why they are afraid so much. That's what causes me to point out the fact that they seem to fear so much. Can we not see how ridiculous it is that we herald them as heroes and yet they can't resolve one situation peacefully without drawing a weapon at some point for their own safety?

The notion of someone walking around freaking out at every little noise or movement by another human being should be ridiculed by reasonable people, not celebrated. I think most people would ridicule this behavior if it wasn't for the fact that the person $#@!ting his/her pants every two seconds wears a blue uniform.

I'm just grateful the brave officer was unscathed. If he had taken on too many snowballs he could have come down with a runny nose. Those punk kids should thank him for the mercy he showed.

I certainly feel safer now. Hope the officer didn't get hurt.
