WASHINGTON - The Republican reaction to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address was almost universally negative, including from Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
Nevertheless, the potential 2016 presidential candidate told a moderate Republican group Wednesday morning that he sees opportunities for some agreements with the administration now that could help in the campaign.
Speaking to the Ripon Society, Paul said the GOP had to do more than oppose the White House.
