The Oddest Bedfellows? Try Obama and Rand Paul

The GOP will not be able to win in 2016 without getting some Dems to vote GOP for president

Of all of Washington’s odd couples, the oddest is turning out to be President Barack Obama and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul .

You often see this kind of thing in business and social circles: A pair who somehow seem to connect despite all their obvious differences. That is these two, which says a lot about shifting ideological lines, generational change and a fascinating 2016 presidential campaign debate to come.

The most recent example came last week, when Mr. Obama stunned Washington by announcing he was normalizing relations with Cuba after half a century of estrangement. One of the strongest voices of support came not from the president’s Democratic Party but from Sen. Paul, an almost-certain 2016 Republican presidential candidate.

The destruction of Rand Paul's primary hopes begins. Before you know it, they'll be calling Rand a "RINO".

In my opinion, Rand needs to say the word "conservative" every few words. For example, "We should adopt a conservative Cuban policy which engages in conservative commerce and infects the liberal Castro regime with conservative principles in a conservative manner. Even the Pope has seen the benefits of this conservative approach to defeating the evil communists. Conservative."
"And now that the legislators and do-gooders have so futilely inflicted so many systems upon society, may they finally end where they should have begun: May they reject all systems, and try liberty; for liberty is an acknowledgment of faith in God and His works." - Bastiat

"It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere." - Voltaire

According to Larry Sinclair, Obama may really like it.

That article is from the War Street Journal. They have been trying to "destroy" Rand Paul's primary hopes for years now. But I agree, Rand Paul has a target on his back and the MSM are not his friends. There is one thing they forget though. Nothing unites the rEVOLution like MSM bias.
