What our 2016 Republican presidential candidate should promote

    .
What we need is a candidate who is articulate; has the fire in his/her blood to save our country from the Washington Pinko and global governance Establishment; who isn't afraid to put his/her opponent(s) on the spot for supporting proposals which violate our Constitution; and has specific proposals to deal with illegal entrants who have invaded our borders, and a specific plan to deal with the unconstitutional Obamacare which now impinges upon the inalienable right of the people to make their own decisions and choices regarding their medical and health care needs.

He/she should also make it a point to list and propose to undo countless despotic executive actions which our existing tyrannical president has fomented. And he/she should shame candidates like Jeb Bush who is embracing millions of illegal entrants who have invaded our borders and are now causing devastating economic and social consequences which Jeb Bush is happy to deal with by enslaving Americans to pay the economic costs which is now thrust upon the States and their CITIZENS.

Our Republican candidate ought to also have a listed point by point plan to reignite America's manufacturing base which could once again be the economic marvel of the world which once provided good paying jobs, even to those without Harvard or Yale degrees.

Finally, on tax reform, he should propose to withdraw the socialist experiment allowing Congress to tax incomes which has not only encouraged countless businesses and industries to leave America, but is a tool gladly used by our Washington Pinko Establishment to enslave hard working people living in our nation's inner cities by confiscating the bread they have earned by the sweet of their labor and inhibits them from accumulating wealth and improving their station in life.

Taxing the wages of working people helps a socialist government maintain a captive voting block which is dependent on free government cheese used as a bribe to buy their vote. Therefore, our candidate should propose the following as an amendment to our Constitution:

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the Sixteenth article of amendment and end taxes calculated from profits, gains, salaries and other “incomes”.

Section 1: The sixteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

Section 2: Congress is henceforth forbidden to lay ``any`` tax or burden calculated from profits, gains, interest, salaries, wages, tips, inheritances or any other lawfully realized money.

Section 3: This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by three fourths of the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission thereof to the States by the Congress.

The above would return us to our Constitution’s ORIGINAL TAX PLAN as our Founders intended it to operate which prevented Congress’ taxing power to be used to manipulate and enslave America’s entire population, including its manufacturing and industrial base.

“…..with all these blessings, what more is necessary to make us a happy and a prosperous people? Still one thing more, fellow-citizens—a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities“. Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address

Spam? Do you call the work of syndicated news columnists spam? Does it really bother you if I try to level the playing field by posting in several forums? Seems that you are rather new here to be charging someone with spamming. If you have nothing to contribute to the thread, then don’t post in it.

Do you think there should be no time limit if such an amendment were sent to the states for ratification?

Well, times do change and we cannot see that far into the future. Proposals like this should have a time period in which they are decided and not linger around forever.

Hey, I'm all for it, johnwk, but why not focus on the spending side of things? Ron Paul said: the spending is the tax. And that's true. Let's pass an amendment that says Congress can't spend more than $20 per year or something and that would take care of the tax side automagically. Make it denominated in gold.

    Section 1

Congress shall appropriate no more than 1 gram of gold in any 12 month period. Failure to abide by this shall result in the immediate hanging of all members of Congress.
