    Oh!
    What the?
    What the $#@! was that?
    You think that you're entitled
    you're a Democrat in disguise
you're pushing common core on us
and you think 2 plus 2 is 5
You say to me its an act of love
    Hispanic pandering, you're a fool
    Why not offer real solutions
    that Clinton can't shoot through
    And waist you
    The things, you say
your family name just loses the game
    The things, you say
    you're unelectable

He's got money, backing and name recognition despite having the Bush label. He'll try to stick it out. Unlike Paul, the higher-ups of the GOP would actually support Bush.

Jeb Bush makes first step in launching presidential campaign

According to the post, Bush will establish a political action committee in January to help “facilitate conversations with citizens across America to discuss the most critical challenges facing our exceptional nation” and “support leaders, ideas and policies that will expand opportunity and prosperity for all Americans.”

Should Bush receive the GOP's nod, then the 2016 election may potentially repeat history, in a way: although she has yet to officially announce as much, Hillary Clinton, the wife of former president Bill Clinton, is being considered a possible Democratic Party top contendor.

According to a poll conducted last month by NBC and the Wall Street Journal, 26 percent of potential voters said they viewed Bush in a positive light, to 33 percent who viewed him negatively.

What he really means is he will be doing polls to see how many votes he can expect to lose because of his last name, considering his brother still hasn't appeared in person to speak at the RNC.

  9. #8
Dick Cheney to appear at the RNC to introduce him! Party like it's 2001 how to lose an election by the GOP

Since 1980, the year GBI was elected VP...there has been a Bush or Clinton in power except for the years when Hillary resigned from her Sec of State position (Feb. 2013) -- less than 24 months out of 34 years.

    Haven't we had enough?

Jeb is most likely to win against Rand, so he should be taken very seriously.

Let Jeb lose to Hillary. Maybe Rand would be a lot better running in 2020 after the economy crashes.

Which is truly sad, considering he is more likable, relative to the other Bushes. The personality/appeal the others are in the negative zone.

LOL the news cycle isn''t even over and they are moving on to Rubio:

Washington (CNN) -- Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is on track to run for President in 2016 even if Jeb Bush also jumps into the race, a source close to Rubio says.

The source told CNN that a Bush candidacy -- increasingly likely after the former Florida governor said in a Facebook post Tuesday that he will "actively explore" running -- changes the dynamics of the race "but not Marco's thought process."

Rubio has invited supporters to a Jan. 23-24 retreat in Miami Beach, where his top aides and donors could formalize his plans for 2016.

A run for president would be a big risk for Rubio, a 43-year-old former Florida House speaker who looks like a sure bet to win a second term in the Senate in 2016.

He's making the moves of a presidential contender. Rubio campaigned with GOP candidates in the 2014 midterm election. He has a memoir set for release in January. And he's working with incoming House Ways and Means Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) to craft health care legislation meant to be an alternative to Obamacare.

He's also been increasingly vocal on foreign policy issues -- potentially setting up a clash with leading Republican contenders like Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who has called for less U.S. intervention overseas.

Rubio, though, would share one problem with Bush: He's championed an overhaul of U.S. immigration laws, a position that has fallen out of favor with much of the GOP base.

"Jeb Bush is a great guy on education!" No he's not. He supports Common Core, which isn't popular with either side. It's the biggest flip-flop on education I've ever seen, even comparable to another once-Florida Governor Charlie Crist.

"Jeb Bush will support our troops!!!" No he won't. He'll send them into more military conflicts in the world, and rack up more dead.

"Jeb Bush kept unemployment steady in Florida as Governor!" No he didn't. Stats showed that, statewide, unemployment shot up in his first term as governor to almost 6%, before resettling down to 4% (still higher than what he came in with).

"Jeb Bush believes in small government!" No he doesn't. He raised the Florida budget, as Governor, more than $20 BILLION. Think about all that money.

"Jeb Bush believes in lower taxes!" No he doesn't. You have to come up with $20 billion for your states budget somehow.

"Okay... well, Jeb Bush at least cares about the Constitution!" No he doesn't. He helped to implement REAL ID in Florida, which basically has been giving Floridians a National ID Card, as well as sending biometric information to the Federal Government to be stored in databases by the DHS. How is that Constitutional?

Jeb Bush. Terrible as Governor. Traitor to the beliefs of his party.

    As for Rubio:

Exactly. No one really cares about Marco. He pissed a lot of people in Florida off with his immigration plans. My expectation is that we may see someone, who actually believes in the constitution run, and possibly put up a good challenge. As for President, he'll get no where.

The extremely obvious tilt of this coverage is: the GOP lost Florida and Ohio in the last two elections, so let's nominate a guy from Florida to prevent that from happening in 2016. By extension, pick Gov. Kasich from Ohio for Vice President, and they'll recover Ohio as well. Expect a lot of talk about a Bush/Kasich or Rubio/Kasich ticket by the pundits.

Both are people I really do not want to see running. Those are terrible pairs, no matter how you mix it up. But yeah, I did sense that.

He'd beat Rand in the primary, but I kind of doubt he could beat Hillary. Rand probably would have a better chance in the general, Rand would run to the left of Hillary.

The more Establishment joke candidates the better. They will split the anti-freedom vote and give Rand Paul a bigger win.

While intuitive, it doesn't always work that way (2007, 2012 for example)

Wittingly, or unwittingly, he's a rabbit. In running, this is the guy who can run fast for a short time, but is not expected to win the race. He will jump out to an early lead and push the pace for about 2/3 of the distance. Then he drops back, or drops out.

Bush is the media's rabbit. The media needed someone to push the pace so the other hopefuls will spend a lot of time and money early in the race. This benefits the media in two ways: 1)They will have something to talk or write about for the next two years, and B) the ones who take the bait will exhaust their financial and emotional capital. They will be break the bank and bore the voters. The media is counting on that.

Bush is good-looking, quotable, married to a Latina, and speaks Spanish. His son is very handsome and is half-Latino. This is the media's big, fat, fakeout. Taxpayers, skilled workers, Christians, gays, and African-Americans have already been thrown under the bus. Latinos are now cool. So here we go while the media looks for the next new special interest group. Four years from now, Latinos will join the rest of us under the bus. This is the way they are defining the economy downward. Why else do you think they highlight the minimum wage and fast food workers?
