Proof that there is no shortage of idiots in America.
"We are losing our children to countless acts of injustice."
The implication there being...
what, exactly? Either that the existence of toy guns is itself an "injustice" (probable meaning), or that the shooting of children by cowards in badges is (improbable meaning). Not matter how you slice the parse on that sentence, the writer looks like a blithering imbecile.
Do they call for police to be held accountable? No.
Do they call for ANYTHING suggestive of minimal intelligence? No.
They call for banning of toys.
Brilliant.
How is it when I was a kid we all had toy guns, some of them very convincing looking. We used to "shoot" people all the time, INCLUDING COPS. I usthave shot Mr, Kegan, an NYPD beat cop, a hundred times. I feel compelled to note that at no time during my childhood did I ever once hear of a cop shooting a child. Not once. Had it ever happened, it certainly would have been big talk all over NYC. Never, ever, even once, did it happen, yet damned near every boy in the city had a toy gun.
Let the cops explain how that could possibly have been the case?
We are in a soft civil war.
