I'd like to know how RP people define what a "real" man is. It's come up in a couple of threads as of late.

Victims of testicular cancer are, of course, men. Just like a woman who's had a hysterectomy is a woman. You have to have the parts, genetics and actually want to be a man. I have a third cousin who is physically a man, but doesn't want to be--not a real man, in my opinion.

I was referring to the old, quite common practice of priests to have themselves castrated. It's never been mandatory, AFAIK. It's just something people once upon a time did. Anyways, I probably derailed myself. Probably best to just disregard that point. /shrugs
