Re-Evaluating the Role of "Traditional" Audio Conferencing

    http://resources.networkworld.com/cc...s/67829/detail

The audio conferencing market is changing and buyers are starting to move from traditional audio conference providers to integrated audio and web conferencing solutions. This white paper discusses new audio trends in the workplace, as well as the criteria that companies should consider before selecting an audio conference provider, including:
-How to reduce your audio budget with unlimited, "all you can use" audio conferencing
-How to choose a solution that works with your workflow
-Why you should put toll-free audio on hold

They want your e-mail address to get a copy of the white paper.
Actually, they want your name, phone and address too... along with job title, etc.

What are peoples experiences with different conference call services the last election cycles?

We were granted access to one companies PBX for one state coordination when they were not using it. It was OK.
Freeconferencecall.com worked OK, but everyone paid LD rates to call in. A recording of the call was kept online for a while so people could call in after the fact and listen to it.
One group was using a commercial service where they could mute all but one caller to keep things in order and they got caller ID info to do this. It worked well.
A group in TX used a VoIP PBX to circumvent LD charges.

We also had the opposition call in and lpay games like introducing noise so no one could talk.

    What are your experiences?
    What worked?
    What didn't?
