I know nothing of him. I'll ask some folks about him, once I get off work. I was originally pulling for Kolkhorst because I thought we wouldn't have a Liberty candidate and Kolkhost would be the best next thing we could get. If anyone knows anything please pipe up.

His site is very professional, he seems pretty well funded, self funded presumably. I will see what else I can dig up.

This is certainly good news, though I don't see lots of support for liberty candidates in the last election cycle. He seems to be wealthy enough to fund a state Senate campaign, but he will need a ground game. Debra Medina lives in the district and has a strong local grassroots organization ... I wonder if she would be willing to endorse him despite the fact that he did not back her?

That's a little weird, he donates to Dewhurst in October of 2013, he donates to Jerry Patterson in October of 2013. And he donates an absolute crapload of money to Dan Patrick scattered throughout a year. Are you sure it's the same guy? where did you find this?

I don't know, he certainly needs grassroots support if he wants to win. Terry Hall from Texans Uniting for Reform and Freedom already endorsed Lois Kolkhorst.

This guy has to be some part of Ron Paul's personal circle. I mean how else has he already got an endorsement, when we have never heard of him?

One of my Paul supporting friends in the district, said one of Gary Gates blockwalkers knocked on his door in early August. He did not think anything of Gary, seemed like standard GOP candidate literature. But then he noticed a Ron Paul 2012 sticker on the guy's truck. Turned the block walking guy is a former Ron Paul staffer.

I guess there's no need to worry about his ground game.
