Twice as many "Cop Shoots Dog" posts than economic posts today.

With all the economic news lately I'm surprised at the lack of activity in this forum.

    That is normal.

"Cop shoots dog, continues to pick up tax-funded paycheck."

Seems like an economic post to me.

Why didn't you post more economic stories?

As far as I know, I posted the only "cop shoots dog" story of the day.

    What's to report economically?

"Happy Days are here again!"...government bailouts for all and DOW 20,000!!!

Maybe the majority of active members here are more likely to get attacked by cops than be affected by the stock market.

Possibly, but it seems like economic posts are dwindling over time.

The quantity of posts here is directly correlated to the quantity of bad economic news.

That's why I'm surprised we didn't get much activity during the drop in the markets.

It did cause three threads (two of them yours). On the flip side of that coin, the fact that a minor drop in stock prices caused as much buzz as it did shows how strong the markets have been.

I look at it that there is no real economic improvement. We have been stagnated , and I imagine will continue to be . On the bright side for me , I filled up on $3 gas since oil has dropped to 82 . That same 82 , does not look good to me for global economic improvement
