Political Leadership School Offered In DFW Oct 18-19

    Foundation For Applied Conservative Leadership

    Dallas, October 18: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/dallas-...on-13293793093

    Fort Worth, October 19: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fort-wo...on-13325132831

This is not a class on political philosophy or ideas. This is practical, no nonsense and tested information on how to be effective in politics.

    This intense one-day training covers:

    • The Real Nature of Politics - why just "educating" people alone won't result in change
    • The Biggest Lie in Politics - and how the political class uses your convictions against you
    • How to work effectively at the Capitol - getting a bill sponsor and a roll call vote despite the leadership
    • How to build a group - putting pressure on legislators

All of our instructors have years of experience putting these principles to work in multiple states. They have worked for the cause of freedom with organizations such as National Right to Work Committee, National Pro-Life Alliance, National Association for Gun Rights, and Campaign for Liberty as well as federal, state and local campaigns, including major presidential campaigns, and successful campaigns for U.S. Senate and Congress. They know what works, and also what has been proven not to work in getting politicians to vote right.

This class will teach you how to turn your passion into effective action.

We sincerely hope you can join us.

Is anybody here going? I can't make it, I would like to hear how it was if you do go.

I went to one in Indiana. It is a worthwhile class.

Hey, I just got a Robocall from Dudley Brown with National Association of Gun Rights inviting me. I'm on their list. That's cool, hope a lot of people show up.

I'm considering it. I work that Saturday. So I think I might go on Sunday. This will help me because I'm trying to organize people in my hometown of White Settlement ISD.

I went to the class in Dallas yesterday … it was well worth the time, and I would suggest those of you interested in political activism try to attend one. They have classes periodically all over the country … keep an eye on Campaign For Liberty’s Texas page for upcoming classes in San Antonio and Galveston.

The event was hosted by Campaign For Liberty and National Association For Gun Rights. The instructor was an NAGR director for field operations, and he was very well versed in all of the North Texas legislative races, as well as some of the national races (notably North Carolina Senate – Greg Brannon). I was the youngest person in the class (I’m 37 yo) … and the instructor and I seemed to be the only libertarians who were not hell bent on sending ground troops to Iraq.

In addition to David Simpson and Jonathan Stickland, the new folks most likely to drive conservative legislation include – not surprisingly – Don Huffines, Konni Burton, Matt Rinaldi, and Tony Tinderholt.

Lastly, Campaign For Liberty still has a list of folks who supported Ron Paul’s presidential runs that could be used to build the Texas liberty movement, but they are hopelessly undermanned. They are seeking regional and county coordinators to organize the liberty movement … especially in Dallas/Fort Worth, where conservatives are having tremendous success in ousting RINOs, but I bet they could use one in Waco as well!

I am planning to get much more involved in NAGR’s efforts, and possibly Campaign For Liberty as well … does anyone have any thoughts on the Texas Campaign For Liberty?

Yep, hopefully Molly White too, she may not be entirely from our ranks, but her site has a better issue page than most of those people, LOL!

How does one become a coordinator on the local level with either group? I know a few people who need those names badly.

If C4L FINALLY helps organize people locally, that would be AWESOME!
