SEATTLE (AP) - As shocking as it was, the Seattle Seahawks' last-minute loss to the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl Sunday was probably not even the worst loss in the city's sports history.
Seattle did lose an entire NBA franchise, after all, when the SuperSonics up and moved to Oklahoma City. At least the Seahawks will be playing again next season.

And Spygate was another non story. Practically every team in the league was guilty of doing the same thing. There's flat out cheating, and there's also gamesmanship. It's a highly competitive league. EVERY team tries to gain an advantage. It's also human nature for the haters to try and tear down whoever is on top. Face it, You're team sucks (whoever it may be) and the Patriots are the greatest franchise in history. Get over it. You sound like the fat chick making excuses because no dude wants to get with you. Sour grapes...
Every dominant team is hated for their success, but you're totally in the dark if you think that's all that's happening in regards to the Pats. I know fans of Boston
I'm not even going to touch either of the "cheating scandals". The Seahawks deserved to lose because of that idiotic slant pass, no one should make excuses for such a bungling that foolish. That said, anyone who doesn't see the blatant favoritism the Patriots are constantly shown by the refs is either blinded by their fandom or not paying attention.
I don't "hate 'em cause I ain't em", though I'm not at all surprised that such a brainless slogan was embraced by the Baaahhhston/NE faithful. I don't like them because I'm a fan of the team most reviled by the refs, and I'd like to see how the Patriots contend without Brady's dick firmly lodged in the mouths of everyone in black and white stripes.

Confirmed:
Now all they need is another CB, safety, 2 or 3 LBs and another DE.NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans have been a very quiet team since their 2-14 season came to a close. But they're about to make a big move, hiring Pro Football Hall of Famer Dick LeBeau to run their defense.
The Tennessean and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette are both reporting the Titans will announce later this week that LeBeau is joining Ken Whisenhunt's staff.
Coach Ken Whisenhunt, who worked with LeBeau in Pittsburgh for six years, has been talking to his friend for some time. The Tennessean first reported a deal is soon to be announced.
Titans defensive coordinator Ray Horton will apparently stay in the same post.
The two are close, and Horton installed a variation of LeBeau's 3-4 defense as he joined the Titans last season.
Horton spent 19 years playing under and coaching under LeBeau, who was let go as Pittsburgh's defensive coordinator after 11 years.
The 77-year old coach, a Hall of Fame defensive back, reportedly wanted to remain close to Cincinnati, and that's something the Titans could offer him that another former colleague, Arizona coach Bruce Arians, could not.
They cut the video so it wasn't broadcast:
Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin's Super Bowl touchdown celebration has earned him a fine from the NFL.
According to a report from FoxSports.com, Baldwin has been fined $11,025, which is the league minimum for a penalty such as Baldwin's.
Baldwin hauled in a 3-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Russell Wilson with 4:54 left in the third quarter of Super Bowl XLIX. The score gave Seattle a 24-14 lead, but it's what came after the score that drew the league's ire.
After the touchdown, Baldwin dropped the ball, squatted and appeared to simulate defecation. The celebration drew a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty from the officials.
Baldwin declined to say whom the celebration was aimed at but acknowledged after the game that it had an intended target.
"That is between me and the guy it was directed at," Baldwin said Sunday night.
Lynchs record from inside the 1 yard line isn't that good, only 1 TD for 6 attempts in 2014. Not that he isn't a great RB, its just that everyone knows he is coming so half the defense meets him at the goal line. That's why "The Call" wasn't such a bad call, it was bad execution, a poorly thrown ball and a receiver who ran the route like he had all night.
Then on the other side you had a DB who knew what nobody outside Seahawks players and coaches knew, that the slant pass was coming. They were beaten by the better team.
