A man has been charged with a religiously-motivated "assault by beating" on British MP George Galloway, police said on Saturday.

Galloway, who recently declared the northern English city he represents an "Israel-free zone", was attacked on a west London street on Friday night.
Police said Neil Masterson, 39, had been charged with "assault by beating which is religiously aggravated" and would appear in court on Monday.

"It is thought that the attack is connected to Mr Galloway's support for the Palestinian cause," his Respect Party said in a statement.

The outspoken Scot, dubbed "Gorgeous George" by the British media, recently made headlines when he declared Bradford to be an Israel-free zone and urged people to reject all Israeli goods, services and tourists.

A Respect spokesman said the incident appeared to be connected with Israel because the attacker had been shouting something about the Holocaust.

Zionists can do whatever they want. They control the message. They control the system across the board in multiple nations. It's like being a police officer in any given country.

I support the Scottish secession from the UK even though they are pushing for more socialism. Damaging a party of war like the UK is beneficial, especially since I don't have to live in that commie landmass.

Suspect who attacked British MP is former BBC manager apparently.

Not clear why he was in same picture as UK PM Cameron.

Could it be that you are probably repeating a bogus charge aimed to slander the man?

    Oil For Food
In 2003 a story in the Telegraph suggested Galloway had £375,000 per year from the proceeds of the Oil-for-Food Programme and had met with Iraqi intelligence agents.
He denied the claims and later successfully sued the paper.

..Well , he did oppose invading Iraq .Yeah , sorry about his luck , probably never happened .Probably bull$#@!.LOL

The attack on the MP by the zionist british man never happened??

It is not that surprising. Some zionists have propagated pretty violent ideas now and then, infamous Andrew Adler threat scandal involving a US based zionist was a recent example.

The Jewish leader of a Brooklyn community center says he was beaten by pro-Palestinian demonstrators in front of his children after a Brooklyn Nets game against Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv at the Barclay’s Center.

Leonard Petlakh, 42, director of the Kings Bay Y, said protestors shouting “Free Palestine” and “Your people are murderers,” accosted him as he left the game in downtown Brooklyn. One of them struck Petlakh in the face, he said.
“It’s ridiculous,” Petlakh told The Forward. “It’s not about the Middle East, it’s about sports.
Petlakh suffered a broken nose and a cut that required eight stitches after the attack, which he said was being investigated by police as an anti-Semitic hate crime.
Petlakh said he hoped, “vile anti-Semitic hooligans masquerading as anti-Zionists will be caught soon.”
The NYPD could not immediately be reached for comment on the incident.
Around 100 pro-Palestinian demonstrators turned out to protest the Nets hosting a Friends of the Israel Defense Forces fundraiser during the exhibition contest, which the Nets won 111-94.
Several groups, including the New York chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace, Adalah New York, and Direct Action Front For Palestine, took part in the protest, which blasted the Nets for hosting 12 wounded Israeli soldiers.
A Jewish Voice for Peace press release stated that it was “particularly offensive for the Friends of the IDF to hold a VIP reception and fundraiser at the Barclay Center in light of Israel’s brutal assault on the Palestinians of Gaza this summer.”
