    "irishcoin" currency

    http://irishcoin.org

I heard an ad for this on liveireland radio. I thought y'all would find it interesting. Any thoughts on this?

IRISHCOIN - IRELAND'S PREMIER CRYPTOCURRENCY IS
LAUNCHED, LIVE AND IN USE WORLD-WIDE.

Designed predominantly for the Irish tourist sector, IrishCoin launched Saturday May 17th. Irish tourism is worth over $3Bn per year to the Irish economy and IrishCoin intends to utilize the promotional aspects of tourism, providing the coin as a discount token vehicle, a tourist organizational branding opportunity, and for the promotion of the Irish tourism industry among the Irish diaspora in the US, Ireland, and globally.

Be careful of "country" coins. Auroracoin, Asiacoin, Pandacoin, Mazacoin ended in failure for a lot of people.

If you play, know when to take BTC profits.

If bars aren't taking this I don't see the point...

Hi, Irish Pub Chain Darcy McGees is a patron of IrishCoin and will be offering discount on certain alcoholic beverages from July. We already carried out a test transaction on launch (see website)

Very true ....although we're more of a patriotic coin for the Irish diaspora.

I LOVE liveireland radio. The trad channel is best, of course.

Hi all. After 4 long years and huge interest in the cryptosphere, Irishcoin has now finally got legs in price mode. Over 3 million dollars has been traded in the last few days on foot of site rebranding at the end of this month and wallet updates. There's a bit off a pullback in alts today including IRL but gains of 300% on average during the week has given the coin more impetus for the next step. See liveIreland Irish News: http://liveireland.com/irish-cryptoc...night-trading/
    Slainte! Sean.

That was a huge spike of volume on the charts from a long period of relative quiet. If you can keep it on the growth side it'll be nice.
