North Korea isn't a real country, South Korean Defence Ministry spokesman says

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/north-k...oric-1.2639484
According to the logic by that of that South Korean Defence Ministry spokesman is South Korea even in a position to be making such threats after an ntaional tragedy?

A rhetorical battle between the rival Koreas intensified Monday with a South Korean official saying North Korea "must disappear soon."

The comments, which will likely draw a furious response from Pyongyang, followed a series of sexist and racist slurs by North Korea against the leaders of South Korea and the United States. Pyongyang's state media likened South Korean President Park Geun-hye to an "old prostitute" and U.S. President Barack Obama to a "monkey" in recent dispatches.

South Korean Defence Ministry spokesman Kim Min-seok told reporters at a briefing in Seoul that North Korea isn't a real country and exists for the benefit of only one person, a reference to dictator Kim Jong-un. He said the North has no human rights or public freedoms.

North Korea doesn't need a genocide. Just a wacko government lobotomy ought to fix and take care of it.

Ummm.... I think North Korea has the genocide of their own people under control.

South Korean Defence Ministry spokesman Kim Min-seok told reporters at a briefing in Seoul that North Korea isn't a real country and exists for the benefit of only one person, a reference to dictator Kim Jong-un. He said the North has no human rights or public freedoms.

That's pretty accurate, the Government in Pyongyang is 100% evil. I hope they are toppled soon. But I want the U.S to stay out of it. Kim Min-seok is clearly saying that the government is illegitimate, not that he supports genocide.

Raimondo wrote about the NK-China split recently.

    North Korean Nightmare
Is war between North Korea and China possible?
    http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2...ean-nightmare/

In a bombshell revelation, anonymous "Chinese military authorities" leaked internal documents to the Japanese media detailing plans to deal with North Korea’s projected collapse – and the details are quite interesting.

According to the documents, whether the cause of the collapse is foreign intervention or some kind of internal disorder, the first order of business is to deflect the millions of refugees who would have no choice but to cross the border into China. However, what’s interesting is the plans Beijing has for the fleeing North Korean leadership. Japan’s Kyodo News Service reports:

"According to the documents, any important North Korean political or military figures who could be targeted for assassination should be given protection. But at the same time, they should be placed in special camps where their activities could be monitored to prevent them from directing military operations or engaging in other activities that could be detrimental to China’s interests."

We’ve sure come a long way from the days of the Korean war, when the Chinese Communist Party and the ruling Workers Party in North Korea were brothers fighting against a common "capitalist-imperialist" enemy. In effect, the Chinese are signaling that they’re ready, willing, and able to throw their North Korean allies over the side in any military conflict with Washington and Seoul. Moreover, they aren’t just saying they’ll abstain from involving themselves in such a conflict: their plan calls for scotching any "military operations" or "oppositional" activities launched in defense of the North Korean state, as well as effectively jailing the Pyongyang leadership.
    [...]
And therein lies the opportunity: US policymakers have a chance to triangulate the impending crisis and instead use it as a means to bring the Korean conundrum to a long-delayed close. Washington could approach the North Koreans with a deal: not the usual baby steps but a giant stride toward the reunification of the peninsula. Such a process was well underway during the Bush administration, but was promptly squashed by the neocons in the administration who decried any effort in the direction of peace as "appeasement." The South’s "Sunshine policy" – which looked for a time like it might actually lead to some form of North-South reconciliation – ended in a dismal sunset.

If the North Koreans are convinced the Chinese are the main danger to them then it makes sense for US policymakers to do what Nixon did under similar circumstances, and that is seek rapprochement with Pyongyang. A comprehensive settlement of the Korean question has been a long time in the making, but to accomplish such a seemingly daunting task requires boldness, imagination – and a real knowledge of the opaque workings of North Korean politics. This administration lacks all three, and so I’m not optimistic. Weighing the danger against the opportunity, I would give the former much more weight. But the opportunity is there – if policymakers can break with routine and take it.
Based on the idea of natural rights, government secures those rights to the individual by strictly negative intervention, making justice costless and easy of access; and beyond that it does not go. The State, on the other hand, both in its genesis and by its primary intention, is purely anti-social. It is not based on the idea of natural rights, but on the idea that the individual has no rights except those that the State may provisionally grant him. It has always made justice costly and difficult of access, and has invariably held itself above justice and common morality whenever it could advantage itself by so doing.

It would be one step closer to the domino effect of China experiencing revolution that would ultimately compromise their ability to finance the international US death-machine.

    In short; neoconservatism's worst nightmare.

North Korea is not Communist,,in any sense of the word. It is a straight up Authoritarian Dictatorship.
Any lip service given to communism is equal to our Governments lip service to the Constitution.

It is a human rights tragedy,, and South Korea is not much better.. a little nicer Authoritarian society. Gold plated bars still make a cage.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. North Korea is a straight up Orwellian society.I really can not understand how they have managed to survive so far and have no rebellions.Stalin is the only comparable character and even with his brutality there were numerous protests and rebellions against his rule but after Stalin died everything that was associated with him was washed away. They manage to keep up the charade going on even after leadership changes and with increasing brutality.

The only place that is comparable to North Korea is Albania under Xoga`s rule, but as soon as he died it didn't take long for everything to fall apart. On the other hand North Korea just keeps rolling on, no matter who rules.

    Who controls the Hermit Kingdom?

According to a North Korean defector – a former regime insider who was one of Kim Jong Il’s favorite poet-propagandists – it is not the 31-year-old dictator Kim Jong Un.

“When Kim Jong Il died and Kim Jong Un succeeded him, people saw the transfer of power from father to son,” Jang Jin-Sung told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour in London. “What they did not see also was what happened to the apparatus of the totalitarian system that supported the rule of Kim Jong Il.”

That apparatus, Jang said, is the Organization and Guidance Department, or OGD – it was Kim Jong Il’s education as he rose through the ranks, and was full of his university friends.

It is an “old-boy’s network” made into a massive surveillance organization.

“Kim Jong Il had the OGD as his old boys' network,” Jang told Amanpour. “Kim Jong-un may have friends in his Swiss school, but he has no one inside North Korea.”

    ...
    (video at link)
    http://amanpour.blogs.cnn.com/2014/0...s-north-korea/

He says Kim Jong Il’s advisors in OGD are still in place, advising Kim Jong-un, or rather advising him on things they already have done.

North Korea’s racist rant against ‘wicked black monkey’ Obama

By Jonathan Capehart Updated: May 8 at 4:23 pm

As The Post’s Chico Harlan reports, this piece published on May 2 almost escaped notice because it hadn’t been translated into English by the Korean Central News Agency. Thanks to blogger Josh Stanton we know the depth of Pyongyang’s racist hate. An earlier piece translated into English which called Obama a “wicked black monkey” is tame compared to what the untranslated harangue said. Here are some choice descriptions of the president.
    “clown”
    “dirty fellow”
“does not even have the basic appearances of a human being.”
“He is a crossbreed with unclear blood.”
Obama “still has the figure of monkey while the human race has evolved through millions of years.”

“It would be perfect for Obama to live with a group of monkeys in the world’s largest African natural zoo and lick the bread crumbs thrown by spectators.”
Charming. And this is coming from a nation whose leader reportedly requires men to sport his “I lost a bet” haircut. The White House slammed the comments as “particularly ugly and disrespectful.”
But North Korea’s hatred isn’t only race-based. Oh no. Pyongyang is an equal opportunity bigot. The South Korean President was slurred as an “old prostitute.”

A communist state would have no leader,,and no leadership class.. all people would work to their utmost ability for the whole..with no regard for themselves.

All being done,,or have been done under socialism.. Communism is Philosophical Masturbation.. It is some peoples Fantasy utopia.. but it can not exist.
Socialism however,,has the same goals and is a reality..throughout the world. Socialism does exist. Socialism is similar but is not Communism.. Socialism is imposed..

Communism can not be imposed,, it requires active cooperation of all within it,, and it needs no leader or leadership class.

That is because most are socialists. Fabian Socialists follow most of Marx's teachings,, but differ only in implementation of them.

Socialism works because people can be tricked into it,, and because it plays on human nature,, (greed, lust, power, hate etc.)

The point is that a lot of useful idiots advocate for communism or socialism as if it is something that actually fits human nature in any way, shape, or form.

The fact that idiots are advocating for it is the reason that places like North Korea exists.

The same cannot be said for Constitutional government in the United States.
