    French alternative school

There was a segment on AJz a bit ago and the numbers quoted, don't match the following article. The show claimed this school was harder to get into than Harvard. That they had expected 3-5,000 applicants, but they got 70,000... There was a series of online tests that took hours to complete, and through this they narrowed the pool to 3,000 people to be brought in for a second interview. Well, I think it was more like weeks... with ppl sleeping there. There are 900 slots. They don't consider grades in admission and even accept HS dropouts. They require at least 70 hours a week from their students. At the end of the first month, they are doing things "normal" university students are doing at the end of the first year. It's a 3 year program. It's free.

When expectations are high, so is behavior. Treat children as imbeciles and they act in kind.

    American "education"... please.

There is only one correct way: freedom. All other solutions are non-solutions.

It appears that artificial intelligence is at least slightly superior to natural stupidity.

Our words make us the ghosts that we are.

Convincing the world he didn't exist was the Devil's second greatest trick; the first was convincing us that God didn't exist.
