“The spirits of darkness are now among us. We have to be on guard so that we may realize what is happening when we encounter them and gain a real idea of where they are to be found. The most dangerous thing you can do in the immediate future will be to give yourself up unconsciously to the influences which are definitely present.” ~ Rudolf Steiner

I might add that I do like BMW's. I looked at getting an M5 (diesel) as a daily driver.
I love the Z3 & Z4... And the luxury level on the higher end models is quite nice...
But they generally are oil boats. My friend had one and the specialist said it wasn't a problem he lost a quart of oil every 1000 miles. No sweating or leakage... So either something is clogging up inside or the oil has become a fuel additive.
I do like the looks of the I7, I8 and even the ugly I3 as it's an interesting concept. But none of them are remotely practical (save the I3) but more importantly, not the kind of car I want to own. If I'd go for an electric car, it would obviously be a Polestar, given that I'm a Volvo driver. But I don't think that will happen too soon. I don't even like the modern features on cars... I do enjoy them on a rental, after I've gotten used to them, but I don't think it makes you any bit better at driving..... In any case; BMW makes quite nice cars but they are maintenance heavy.... And electric cars suck, apart from the acceleration bit.

I, on the other hand, have been married for 43 years, to the same woman. There have definitely been some really rocky times, even temporary seperations. There have also been some REALLY GOOD times. Overall I’d have to say I’m happily married. It’s nice to have someone to share your life with.
