Running mate: Maria Rodriguez, former Village President of Long Grove


Kirk W. Dillard, State Senator and candidate for Governor in 2010
Running mate: Jil Tracy, State Representative


Bruce Rauner, businessman and Chairman of GTCR
Running mate: Evelyn Sanguinetti, Wheaton City Councilwoman


Dan Rutherford, Illinois Treasurer
Running mate: Steve Kim, nominee for Illinois Attorney General in 2010

I think we would be better off setting up a fund to help people leave Illinois than supporting one of those guys. There is not a single liberty issue on any of their websites. I suppose Rauner mentions government pension reform, but no way he will follow through.

I'm going with Rutherford. These guys are hardly libertarian, but Rutherford is the closest to my ideals, especially his devotion to the 2nd Amendment issues. The rest of the 3 are pure slime and fully partake in political patronage.

This was a surpringly close race. I have been bombarded with Rauner ads and not seen one from Dillard. Uncertified results:
