Hillary Clinton: "My Biggest Regret Is What Happened In Benghazi"

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vid..._benghazi.html

QUESTION: Any do-overs that you would -- relative to Secretary of State?

HILLARY CLINTON: Oh, sure. I mean, you know, you make these choices based on imperfect information. And you make them to -- as we say, the best of your ability. But that doesn't mean that there's not going to be unforeseen consequences, unpredictable twists and turns.

You know, my biggest, you know, regret is what happened in Benghazi. It was a terrible tragedy, losing four Americans, two diplomats and now it's public, so I can say two CIA operatives, losing an ambassador like Chris Stevens, who was one of our very best and had served in Libya and across the Middle East and spoke Arabic.

Regretable only because it may prevent election as President.
Out of every one hundred men they send us, ten should not even be here. Eighty will do nothing but serve as targets for the enemy. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, upon them depends our success in battle. But one, ah the one, he is a real warrior, and he will bring the others back from battle alive.

Sadly, people around here seem to want to bring up Benghazi instead of her cheerleading for the Iraq war.

And let me guess, she's fully responsible and accountable ( just as long as there isn't ANY cost nor associated penalty ).

At this point, what difference does it make ?

To do so would insult Republicans who continue to make excuses for the Bush administration's foreign policy.

Benghazi is every bit as bad as Iraq, we where arming and supplying the very thugs we are supposedly fighting in the War on Terror. Benghazi is about a proxy war we are fighting in Syria and the greater Middle East it had nothing to do about a movie or an embassy which was a laughable cover story. There would be no uprising against Assad if it was not the West (US, British intelligence and the Saudis) arming the "Al Qaeda" thugs fighting against him and I am not picking any side because there are no boy scouts involved. The Republicans and Democrats own this war on terror and have sold us this lie to cover for their treason. This war for the last 13 plus years is phony. So was Iraq and both parties are up too it to their eye balls in this. Go back and start reading history of the Middle East from WW1 to now, you could really go back a lot further. When will people wake up and realize that we have been had.

The only reason why Republicans jumped all over the issue (aside from it being Clinton's handling) was because a couple ambassadors were killed. Their outrage has little, if anything to do with who is aiding/supplying who in that region.

This isn't to say that it wasn't a blunder on Clinton and Obama's part but I still say that pushing for a war that devastated both the United States and the Middle East is a much bigger deal. Not to excuse them for their votes, but I'm sure a lot of Democrats in '02/03 fell in line just because Clinton cheerleaded for that war and then joined her when she realized that it was politically in her best interest to oppose the war so she wouldn't sink with the Bush administration.
