The big, in your face picture of Huckabee just above the poll is sort of a giveaway of who is going to "win" the poll. Its basic marketing.

    "Breakout Performance

How Huckabee won the debate & why he's become a contender."

    *shakes head*

THe MSN poll is just like the AOL poll, it goes forward, it goes backwards and is very easy to vote in more than once.

I think we should let the other campaigns attack Huck and hurt themselves as well as Huck while Paul just glides to the top.

It's our responsability to go after Huck. Thompson is the only one who will, and if we don't, we need to thank him. Thompson is old school republican... we can't forget we're in a republican race.

The polls are rigged. I watched it make jumps of around 100 votes at once.

That increase is to be expected if their volume is trusted.

That's generally because the web server just uses a client-side script to GUESS at the new totals so that it doesn't have to hit the database so often. Periodically it gets an update from the server, so it brings its guesses back into line with the real numbers.

We can't say that. It is to be expected that he would get those votes. His supporters are mobilizing online--but that is a very small part of it. Those votes are coming from regular visitors to their site. These are the typical non-thinking voters. And he has been getting incredible coverage from every type of media. And people were hungry for someone like this, a dark horse. He did look very good to the other sleazebags last night. And the IRS thing probably got him 75% of the votes.

It is not in the least bit discouraging. For so many reasons.

However, how are we all forgetting that the Paul campaign would be the most uphill battle in the world.

We are fighting so many things: apathy, entitlement mentality, people trusting the MSM, fearful people, people with no faith in their ability to elect anti-establishment types.

So the poll is almost certainly not rigged. We just have another huge bump in the road. We have to fight.

But we knew this all along.

Its strange how everyone spamming these polls and insisting they are accurate are newly registered this month.

We are now winning the MSN poll, 41 percent, huckabee at about 23 i think. For AOL, Paul and Huckabee are tied at 21 percent.

    BUMP!
