Florida Residents... NEED your help. Ron Paul state committeeman under fire!!

Dan lead the Ron Paul campaign in Pinellas County, FL where Ron Paul received the most votes in the state of Florida.

Dan made a stuuuppppidd childish comment on facebook and apologized (and was accepted) but the RINO's in the local REC are pushing for him to resign. He is not well liked by the various powerful establishment elites in our area as he represents a faction of the GOP that they detest (us). The chairman strongarmed the board into sending out a press release asking for his resignation.

We are doing everything we can locally to rally support for Dan.

We agree that Dan's Facebook comment was inappropriate and insensitive, but I don't believe that his 10+ years of tireless volunteer activism in support of Republican candidates and the Republican Party should be tossed in the waste can over a stupid Facebook comment. I would ask that those who support Dan Tucker contact the PCREC and RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry.

Tucker, an activist with the Ron Paul libertarian wing of the GOP, was elected state committeeman last year. His most notable act since then was to respond to news

that Republican County Commissioner John Morroni had endorsed Democrat Darden Rice for a St. Petersburg City Council seat by commenting on Facebook: "Doesn't he have cancer of the brain … hmmm?"

Turns out......

Morroni has battled cancer for years, and local party leaders are calling on Tucker to resign.

Dan apologized, called the fellow, he accepted the apology and told him not to resign. The local REC, a liberal RINO state senator, and every RINO in the the county are demanding he resign.

IMO it's a terrible distraction and was handled completely wrong by the REC.
