Hey Fascist Government and Corporate Propaganda Media...

You want to stop the slaughtering of people... stop the CIA, Mi6, DGSE, et al... from arming the rebels and terrorists. BTW, stop the all the funding for these covert insurgencies and wars. I would like to know who authorized US agencies and personnel funding, training, arming, and transporting of terrorists into Syria.

Some the weapons flowing in and you stop the killing and war...

I think we all know the U.S. won't do this, since it's obvious, they started this grand plane 5 years ago.

Cruz really differentiates himself from the competition. Some are calling for no military intervention in Syria, some are calling for long war with Syria with regime change objectives, others are calling for remote control air strikes.
Ted Cruz is the only politician who has called for a quick war with Syria with US military led boots on the ground to search and destroy WMDs. A unique voice with a vision of future and freedom for Syrian/Iranian civilians.

“We know Assad has used these weapons, and there is good reason to suspect the al Qaida-affiliated rebels would use them as well if they could get their hands on them. This poses an intolerable threat not only to our friends in the region, but also to the United States. We need to be developing a clear, practical plan to go in, locate the weapons, secure or destroy them, and then get out. The United States should be firmly in the lead to make sure the job is done right.”- Rafael Cruz

He cares for security of our close allies Saudi Arabia/Israel while caring for security of Americans at the same time. A genius.

There are only so many people really good at playing chess, and I don't see any of them in the middle of this.
We're still talking strategy, not principle. Are we just trying to out-guess the president and his administration? What if the game board changes unexpectedly? Will the rhetoric just need to change along with it?

They should face the reality of being wrong. It will make them better people in the end.

Cruz is the conservative equivalent of the liberal latecomers who didn't start criticizing the Iraq war until after Bush won re-election.

    He's not a non-interventionist. I don't trust him.

He never claimed to be non-interventionist.

There are some times of people that can only see the world in absolutes. Not their fault they were born that way, but they can't seem to fathom middle positions.

It's not a middle position. Ted Cruz is not a rational pragmatist. He would have voted for the Iraq war had he been in Congress back then. He will support more war once a Republican wins the White House.

CNN reported something similar last week. Syrian Generals that left to fight with the rebels have since left the country because Al Qaeda has almost completely taken over the ranks. I will look to see if anyone recorded it, I saw it live. Of course the rest of the panel glossed over that fact and moved on to why we must attack Syria.

Except Cruz is a senator who actually has the authority to vote on this crap. So yes, it is fault if he supports intervention, regardless of his "misguidance" when it comes to the "get in/get out" military strategy in Syria.

I like a Cruz a bit, but to me he is still another DC politician.

I didn't like how he said that he would reinstate the missile defense grid in Poland and sell Jets to Taiwan. Doesn't sound very non interventionist to me.

Cruz is another fairweather conservative who just wants to oppose Obama.

Rand would be saying the same thing had Romney won.
