LLPH Endorsed Matt McCall (R CAND-TX 21)

LLPH is honored to announce our first 2014 candidate endorsement, endorsing Matt McCall to defeat RINO Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX 21) in 2014.

First, let’s meet Rep. Lamar Smith:

-He’s most famous for his infamous SOPA bill that would have greatly destroyed our freedom on the internet.

-He voted for Hurricane Sandy funding that was not offset by spending cuts.

-He voted for continuing resolutions that fund Obamacare and has also supported raising the debt ceiling.

-He voted against Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA 10)’s amendment to repeal the socialist dairy laws in our country.

-He voted against Rep. Steve Chabot (R-OH 1)’s amendment to end the wasteful program known as MAP.

-He voted against Rep. Kind (D-WI 3) amendment to reform crop insurance in our country.

-He voted for the bloated farm/food stamp bill, failing to join 67 strong conservatives in voting no.

-He voted against Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX 2)’s amendment to cut $600 million in aid to Pakistan.

-He voted against Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI 3)’s amendment to protect our civil liberties.

Rep. Lamar Smith is a RABBIT REPUBLICAN. He scored a pathetic 46% on our recent scorecard. He’s one of those who President Reagan would refer to when President Reagan said, “We had rabbits when we needed tigers.” Rep. Smith must go in 2014.

Now, let’s meet his CONSERVATIVE primary challenger, Matt McCall:

-Matt McCall is not a career politician, he’s a small business owner who understands the regulations that are hurting job creation.

-He truly understands that spending is the problem, which is why he has committed to eliminating departments including the Departments of Energy, Education, Interior, and the EPA, just to name a few.

-Matt McCall will support abolishing the IRS.

-Matt McCall understands the difference between national defense and wasting money on defense. He would have voted for the Poe Amendment that would have cut $600 million from Pakistan.

-He will be an unwavering defender of the 2nd Amendment.

-He will be an advocate for the right to Life and the protection of innocent children.

-He will fight for a repeal of the Veteran Disarmament Act (takes guns away from veterans), the Patriot Act (which has been shown to violate the Constitution, and will oppose unconstitutional legislation like SOPA/PIPA.

-Matt McCall will oppose continuing resolutions that do not defund Obamacare. He will stand strong and not blink.

-Matt McCall has signed the Reject the Debt Pledge by the Coalition to Reduce Spending.

As you can see, Matt McCall is the true conservative in this race and LLPH is proud to give him our endorsement for 2014! We look forward to defeat RINO Rabbit Rep. Lamar Smith and sending Matt McCall to join our conservative coalition in the House of Representatives.
