So let me understand: Elderly American citizens are not allowed to approach A Senator, but armed Syrian rebels are.

Yes, you are correct. You, as a law-abiding, Second Amendment protected American, have less rights than a terrorist is a foreign country.

Mundanes must prostrate (and disarm) themselves before politburo royalty in Amerika.

if the election is tight, mitch may loose it
given that he has alienated gurley's voters
by his cavalier attitude. poor gurley L. martin!

my point is... all the OLDER voters in KY dislike impolite snubs!
Gurley L. Martin had to agitate to be included in the debates!

God I love Gurley. I've been facebook friends with him since the senate campaign in 2010 and every now and then we'll have a comment exchange or something, he's a good guy. His typing style is truly something else!

No, no, not just "A" Senator {elderly American "citizens" might be allowed to approach one of those} but "The" Senator ...

doctor ron paul's presidential runs in 2008 and 2012 were aptly correctly focused on the worsening economy & our expanding national debt.
gurley L. martin's bold run for the senate was often quixotic, whimsical and the culmination of a long lifetime's familiarity with kentucky politics.
rand paul gave the voters of KY a clear cut choice in the very "tea party' year of 2010 & his election to the senate was a political upset!!!!
